While i play i avoid eating as this is just additional thing that distracts you and this is not good for your game. I try to ensure that i don't play hungry though as hunger is even worse distraction.

Not that I prefer, but I literally adore eating with poker and a glass of red wine. I do it every day at 8pm and it’s my favorite ritual. If we are hungry or thirsty, it seriously impairs our focus during the game.

Absolutely! I often get the munchies while playing. So yes If I get the urge to eat I eat..If I get the urge to snack I snack. I get headaches most of the time if I go without eating. And I just think its good to feed your body with food so you can think better and feel better. Who likes to play poker if your HANGRY
