In tourneys, are you folding over pairs to the flop , like AA or KK when they move all in , and you don’t have much info on them.
I find myself calling most spots and they flopped set or two pair.
How do u get away in those spots or is it just in lucky,
And the board is blank board ,

This is a difficult question that I feel wouldn't give you the best info. Some top players will cash less but win more overall w/ more top 3 finishes. But you could assume 20% as a rough estimate on this.

Not directly but there have been times when another event or activity is going on and I would prefer that. I feel that over the years I have done a good job about not burning out. I take breaks, take time off & don't over do it. Sometimes during big series online I have felt a bit of this and then would take time off soon after.

That's great! I wish you the best on the journey. I can say it's a learning process & to realize it takes time to get a base going & I would not let it discourage you if there aren't big numbers. It also is hard to do all at once w/ out a team or support group. It is difficult to manage multiple platforms on your own & give it proper attention. I would focus on one then as you build it add another. I did Twitch in 2015, youtube started in 2017, and podcast essentially 2019.

Are you referring to a cash game or tournament? If a tournament you all start same chips, for those that get off to a fast start it is a big advantage as they can withstand all in collisions and not risk their tournament life. It is important to maintain a solid chip stack which means taking some risks. If you feel an opponent is opening too much it is important to take a stand and go all in while you still have some fold equity and can do some damage to their stack. This we can go into more depth but this is a good way to think of it!

Thank you very much I wish the same to you! It is a learning process that you must pay attention to or it can get lob sided quickly! I think having a partner that is supporting and understanding is huge, also communication helps lot to look at schedules upcoming and help to map out time for the family, poker & other activities you would like to do.

I know what you mean but w/ out a specific flop example and hand on that flop hard to answer. What if flop is KT4r & you have AQo then what? Need specifics but I like where your head is at! Send me a specific hand example I will try to break it down that way!

Any words of wisdom for a recreational player who has made only one deposit in his lifetime, and plays in freeroll tournaments...BTW, I won my 1100 Euro ticket in the Unibet Open by playing in freerolls and winning tickets to higher and higher levels. I have done the Cardschat 30 day course, so what else is there beyond trying to get a good night's sleep?

Hello! I remember having some success playing $1/2 live poker consistently & decided to take a shot at a live tournament was at Casino Windsor at the time (now Caesars Windsor)! I ended up Final Tabling the $500 tournament there & cashing for 5 figures. It was really amazing & my Dad came to watch the Final Table! I felt very excited & motivated to learn more & play better.

Rest is def key! I would say don't play multiple tables, have your food ready for breaks, breathe, stretch before & really focus on what the table gives you. If it's tight open up, if loose tighten up, don't be afraid to go for it near the money or once you get chips. Remember min cash is great but having a chance to win is very important & don't be afraid to go for it! Best of luck and have fun!

Hi Jeff,

In cash games I can sometimes run up a stack but eventually will loose most, or all of it, if I make it a long session. Should I set a goal amount to reach and then stand up, or wait for the downswing to start before leaving?

I play live and on-line poker. I'm greedy and it's hard for me to leave when I'm winning.

This should be covered in bankroll management right?
