depends how tight MP1 is. i mean if his range there is AQ+ then i think there's plenty of merit to flatting. or even if his range is wider but he's just folding nearly all of the hands we dominate to a 3bet

It's not wrong per se, but if you take out AK from your value 3betting range in position, it becomes super tight (KK+), and that means your light 3betting frequency ip has to be super low too, and overall you're losing money by not 3betting in position enough, which is a super profitable thing to do.

when 2nl players can be described as pretty solid, poker is dead, imo.

This only matters if they notice you don't 3-bet AK. Especially multi-tabling regs will just use the HUD number and assume it's like JJ+/AQ+ and then however much bigger it is is how much air.

On top of that though I don't think it's horrible to not be 3-betting a ton in position. You should be able to flat a pretty wide range in position and this helps protect against squeezes as well. I mean putting pressure on people with position is always good but if we flat we keep the SPR high and the higher that is the bigger our advantage postflop with position is.

There isn't when I'm playing
I just manipulate the RNG and use all my poker earned run good for monopoly winz. That's why I suck at poker, really that's why.

Well, you are a multi-tabling reg. Don't you take notes when regs flat with AK and go to showdown against you? I most certainly do.

Obviously i'll be mixing my play and sometimes flatting premiums and sometimes 3betting. But I do like 3betting a decent amount in position, both with premiums and with some implied odds hands that are not good enough to call with.

At the very least i'll test the villains to see how badly they adjust. When you find one who flats your 3bets and plays fit or fold on the flop, it's like a walking ATM. :D

OMG, I cannot believe that people like this actually still play poker :)

sharkscope his user name...

Quite remarquably, he manages to have a ROI of -62% while playing mostly freerolls. Who would have thought that was even possible? :D

I do, but I've come to the conclusion that most 200nl regs don't. Most simply play their game and really don't adjust much to that kind of thing. The odds that a 25nl player is going to first off keep these notes and second off know what it even means about your range is going to be very small imo.
