Lost interest in the game...

This happens to me when I have difficulty finding time to play—commitments, travel, bad internet, long periods of time. As for feeling discouraged or losing interest in poker, it has only happened a few times, when I was playing in a single room. But by diversifying my rooms, one for a while, another for a while, playing different types of tournaments, and setting goals, I've been kept active during the periods I play.

Right now, I'm really excited about the WPT Global micro and low-stakes tournaments. A 5th place finish in a Cardchat freeroll (around $4) brought my winnings to $240. First, I cashed out a 2nd place finish in a $1.10 micro tournament, which returned $40. From there, I played several $1.10 and $2.20 tournaments, and my winnings dropped to $23. I decided to go for a $7.70 PKO tournament, and I won it on my second try, returning $240. Now I'm on a losing streak because of internet issues; I've lost about four games, and that's where I'm at.

I set myself a goal: to reach $500 to deposit. I've never deposited on WPT before. I currently have $80, as I mentioned above, the internet has been terrible these days.

I've always been interested in poker, but my enthusiasm for it isn't very good. I can make great decisions during the game, but at some point I always sabotage myself and lose everything...

Are you feeling that because you dont reach objectives? that might be the reason, not winning may be the reason.

Yes, it happened to me too with NLH; but I decided to play HORSE, 8-Game and Omaha H/L, Stud H/L.
So these games keep me on my toes and I have no time to lose interest.
