Nice first session of the month, got lots of bonus's to clear this month as well. I really is a shame that i am such a bankroll nit, playing over 100 buyins on nl$50 at the moment. Itching to get back up once my confidence returns, a few decent sessions this week should do it hopefully.

having an opponent disconnect during a HU sng is teh suck. Took me fcking 15 minutes to blind him out and blinds were 75/150

(Is it unethical to blind someone out in that situation? I mean at earlier blinds i wait for the people and stall as much as a can since blinds arent important, but at 75/150 the blinds are huge and i cant afford to wait 20 minutes for villain to return and end up with 200/400 blinds and completely lose any edge i might have had)

I really don't think there's anything you can do. There aren't many people out there that are going to wait and turn down free money.

Bah, after my computer died last week, I ordered a new one, and it won't get here until the 18th!!!! I am already going through serious withdrawal!! I'm really bummed, I was on pace to reach my current goal by the end of February and was ready to start the next one March 1st.

I'm also REALLY worried about saving my HEM database. All of the threads on their forums say you need to either backup your database or export your hands through the program itself. I haven't found out if I can save anything from my old drive yet. I don't think my new install (which will be on Vista as opposed to XP) will be able to access my old db. Has anyone ever gotten Full Tilt to e-mail a lot of old hands to them before, so I could just re-import them?

BTW, to everyone trying out PLO, I also recommend Jeff Hwang's book, it's excellent.

+1. 95% of your opponents would blind you out if it happened to you, so i don't think there's any use putting yourself at a disadvantage by not doing it yourself. especially since you're generally going to be the better player so you'd be the one giving up an edge

in a match against somebody i know i'd try to wait as long as seemed reasonable and hope they'd do the same for me

played some 50nl HU and ended up playing this pretty solid reg (TR has him winning at like 2 PTBB/100 at 100 and 200nl). I went down 150 early then started owning him and got to within -20 then lost a medium-sized pot to go down to -50 and decided to 5-bet shove Q8 200 BBs deep lol. Highlight was winning the $20 pot calling down with AT high :).

Too bad those villains are not richer. I'd love to play them at 200nl, tbh.

You haven't seen them? They are there and they all hit their set like 90% of the time. I can give you the names of several Stars regs that actually regularly win but enjoy set mining to 4-bets oop with hands like 33. I used to think they were silly but with their winrates I'm convinced they just know when they're going to hit sets.

Do they fold when they miss on a board devoid of A and K? Because if people overplay AK unimproved postflop and slowplay KK+, it's possible that calling their 4bets is profitable without set mining odds.

No idea, I always either hit TPTK or have AA/KK and they always hit their set.

Then my best guess is that they only do it against you because they know that you are the unluckiest person on this planet...

Pretty sure that's a fold preflop when he raises 12x. No way you're getting implied odds.
