I don't care about all of this if it's online. However, I can see it being frustrating if it happens offline.

Yes, I think these players are just hiding their low poker skills level. Their goal is to make you nervous. That's normal, because it's their only weapon and the solution to their main problem in poker (a lack of skills and discipline). :sneaky:

Poker is competitive, yes. Emotions run high, absolutely. But constant trash talk, slow-rolling on purpose, berating weaker players, or acting entitled at the table just creates a toxic atmosphere. Especially in live games, that kind of behavior can completely ruin the experience.

What’s worse is when experienced players disrespect beginners. Recreational players are essential for the ecosystem. If new players feel mocked or uncomfortable, they simply won’t come back — and that’s bad for everyone.

I just ignore them as they are just emotionally immature players and they don't need my attention. They just appear to me as frustrated children with temper tantrum so it is very easy for me to just ignore that kind of behavior. Though I have to say I love all the animations thrown at me as it means I have done something right :D

A player who plays in the worst possible way, constantly annoying others while entering almost every hand, shows a lack of respect not only for the game but also for themselves and the other players. They’re not interested in playing properly and often try to distract or tilt their opponents instead.

That said, once you understand how these players think and play, they can actually become very profitable to face. Against someone like this, you’re happy to get all in preflop with a hand like pocket aces, because they’ll often call with much worse. Sometimes they’ll get lucky, and that can be frustrating, but in the long run the balance should fall on your side if you keep making good decisions.

I think its a lot more unfriendly than it use to be. A lot of of the emojis aid this such as laughing at people when you beat them. Does make me want to play live more.

All these throwables, I don't really get it. It makes it feel preteen.
The game is made for adults but some people keep that childish school mentality.
Adults, acting like teenagers, playing adults, with preteen tendencies.
It's like infants who still play mammy and daddy, but in the big world.
