In my humble opinion, cannabis is an intoxicant and causes chemical dependence to its users and does not interfere with anything positive in the intellect of the human being. The study is the answer to all evolution and not the use of drugs!

Done it can say when you sit for long periods in the casino you burn out not good. At home it's different you can do whatever. To each their own smoke or not whatever makes you happy

In short term 2-3 session it could help you reduce the stress and anxiety but then when you start rely that this will help you activate like a cheat code in the game - your decision making will be radically depending on the it and you will start believe you need more because your decision aren't like the first time when you crushed all opponents. SO overall answer for me is - NO it doesn't help. Maybe a sip of little whiskey to relieve the nerves could help so you can push some of your bluffs but that's it really. NO Drinking and NO substances while you're playing. Otherwise you're disrespecting your money and efforts on the table. GL!

Drugs are what sells at the pharmacy. Cannabis is medicine for the body and soul, it is on another level beyond ordinary drugs.
Also, you should know that consuming cannabis is much better than other common everyday items like sugar, alcohol, or even nicotine and caffeine in addition to other alkaloids.

We should stop spreading lazy ideas and do more research before forming an opinion about something. That goes for everything in life!

Seriously though, various substances and activities can have totally different effects on our actions and thought processes. Find what works for YOU and don't be constrained by the biases and opinions of others .Been a fan of cannabis for over 40 years with no discernible negative outcomes, yet respect other's choice to not partake. To each his/her own.

As it pertains to poker, I like a small amount prior to starting a tourney to enhance my patience. Like most things in life, know your limits and practice moderation.

I was a rather heavy cannabis smoker in the past. Nothing positive ever come of my life while using. I can see why some may think it would be of use while playing poker, but this will vary from person to person, it's also important to remember that weed, like coffee, alcohol, etc. All produce dopamine. Too much dopamine is not good for mental well-being, which can in turn affect the way you make decisions.

I personally do not smoke. Sometimes I drink alcohol. But I believe that playing for money requires sobriety. I'm not against cannabis or alcohol, but only when relaxing.

I’ve never smoked cannabis. If you’re not already having fun I assume it would help. I can’t see how it would improve your game though. Most players are a little too uninhibited, not the other way around.
