I just play poker without drugs but maybe it can help you to play more relaxed

Weed is unlikely to have a massive impact on your play one way or another unless you get yourself like totally stoned in which case your out of it and pay worse.

i suppose maybe some placebo effect might happen if you truly believe this helps you.

also if you suffer from anxiety or fear it might help mellow you out so you can just go for it when you need to and not let emotions affect you in the same way.

after suffering a few bad beats from terrible players in a tournament i nearly won a lot of money in it might stop me doing this.

Not for me. I have friends that smoke all the time during our weekly home game and I can't even tell they're high, dosen't seem to effect their game. Had 1 guy last week that dosen't smoke regularly, got high and couldn't hardly play. I guess it depends on your tolerance.

I don't know guys, I haven't tried it. I didn't even use it. We are illegal to use cannabis. If it is allowed in your country, please describe your feeling when playing cannabis poker, it's interesting to read.

I would say enemies , these two do not stick one with another . I have heard so e payers saying that when they are high they play better , they have more focus . The (rare) times that I tried it in the far past , results were disappointing, at least on my game

I think those combinations are not good. You must be as lucid as possible to have good poker at the tables. So my advice is don't mix those products.

Weed is a necessity for me.
I have adhd, so it helps me to focus and stay relatively calm with my body.
So its either herbs or pills.
However, only small amounts.
When i overdo it, I have trouble focusing on multiple tasks, and also with short term memory.
Alcohol is absolutely worst for poker performance, too much caffeine as well.

I am totally against smoking grass. Everything you feel is only temporary, but in the end you will have to pay dearly for artificial sensations.

I don't think consuming cannabis will improve your game, although I'm not sure about that but it must be the same effect as alcohol which only dulls the game

It depends. It get me a little distracted, so I find it very bad to play multitabling high. I like it for seeing the game from a different perspective, so it's kind of a studying tool more than a often habit for playing.

I'd really like to understand how we're going to 'pay' for using something 'healthier' than sugar in the kitchen... or alcohol and caffeine!

I respect the opinions, but there is a lot of misinformation on the subject.
In the end, it will always be everyone's choice!

The few times that I have mixed poker with weed, I feel it did help me. I was more relaxed and felt very focused on only the poker game.

Drugs of this type change the perception of reality by a person. It is almost impossible to play poker under the influence of psychedelics, even if you have taken a small dose. The fact is that mescaline and similar substances change the perception of reality, and you stop thinking rationally. And rational thinking must be present in a poker player.

In small amounts it helps with anxiety, and calms my game, but in large quantities with alcohol it is a catastrophe
