I started playing poker when i was about 8 or 9 with my grandparents for whatever change i could scrounge up. They let me get into their weekly penny game with them and their friens.

When I was a little kid about 4-5 years old I was watching a lot of movies and most of them were action movies where the main characters played poker. I wanted my mother to buy me a deck of cards but I wasn't aware of any game. My grandfather learned me to play Belot (a Russian card game). Then when I learned the Belot and a few other games I decided to ask my father how to play poker. He taught me to play the five card single draw. But of course we were the only ones who knew how to play it. Then I found the texas hold'em version from an online ad when I was 7th grade. So I gave it a try.
