At what age did you start playing poker? And at what age did you start taking poker serious(or whatever highest level you think is serious)?

Dad taught me poker at a young age, but I got into Hold Em right after high school.

i begun playing five card poker when i was a child. First to 20 points won and no money involved. First poker with money involved was when i travelled to bowlingleague games far away by bus. We put a 5 Sek coin each of us and we were a maximum of 5 players. It mostly was a way to make the time go, thou the longest travels took 6 hrs. A couple of years ago i saw texas holdem on television and it looked like a fun game. Played texas holdem on facebook/ zynga for a couple of years. last year I decided to try it with real money. First at "svenska spel" but there was trouble with the poker room client so i changed to pokerstars instead. Been there for less than a year now. Poker for me is a recreational game.

I started playing five card draw when I was six years old. Then at age twelve I was introduced to Texas Hold'em. It may be considered taboo to teach a six year old kid to play five card draw, but I'm glad my dad did. I have always taken poker serious to some magnitude if there was some money involved. I'm not an aspired pro or even the best amateur poker player, but if you hate to lose money when your at the tables, that alone has to be considered taking poker serious, to some extent.

After a very long time did not play. Year, two can as returned. And that is rather mediocre. Tight play was only the last few months.
