When I started playing I only played freerolls mostly because I couldn't afford to deposit, not to mention I would have probably lost a fortune trying to learn this game. lol Built up rolls and used them to deposit on other sites.

I couldn't (and wouldn't want to) make a living at poker. But I am fortunate enough that it doesn't cost me money. I have strict bankroll management. If I have cash I will pay for games. If I don't have cash, I play freerolls until I have cash.

Kudos to you, man. I have trouble putting proper BRM into practice because I hate grinding. Whenever I make a deposit I seem to put about a third of my bankroll at risk with every buy in. I have been in the mindset of "As long as I play good poker, I'll be okay". But playing good poker alone wont prevent someone from getting their bankroll busted in count of bad beats, and stuff like that. Next time I make a deposit I will stick to the 5% rule.

Lol "invest" more like donate. I don't bust my bankroll anymore (I speak with certainty for the purpose of looking down upon those who bust bankrolls) so I don't need to donate.
