Having a place where you’re surrounded by players who motivate you, challenge you, and help you grow definitely makes the grind a lot lighter. Winning free money in free tournaments is great, it seems like magic, you make the money appear out of nowhere, and for those who know how and are lucky, sometimes it works.

I always reflect on the opportunities I have here on Cardschat: learning poker, talking to people from all over the world. Here I learned to do something magical: make money appear from absolute zero. In Cardschat's freerolls, I learned and accomplished a lot.

I have a sense of belonging when I'm watching the news on TV and see a place mentioned in the world; I immediately think, "I have a friend from CardsChat who lives there." The CardsChat league is an activity that really helps you make friends and stay connected with people.
