What got you into poker?

I learned from friends and family here in my home town. Its quite popular now. We have a few poker houses.

what led me to play was some friends who had a group that played once a week at one of their houses. after the invitation I started to go a few times and here I am in love with the game for about 8 years.

Wow 😮 what a great 👍 question 🙋‍♀️.on the streets when I was in my Rebellious state. I was about 13 years old I ran away from home 🏡 to hangout with friends. I Used to watch the Hustlers playing this game with a lot of Excitement .Laughter.and Arguments not to mention lots of money 💰. I just use to watch.one day I had a little money 💰 and Decided to try my luck 🍀 with zero knowledge of the game.because I had a friend that knew the game beside me so I was playing and my friend was telling me when I can call 📞 bet or fold .I was in this one pot when a player raise and I wanted to fold but my friend said to raise so I raised and the next player 4 bet and my friend said to raise so I 5 bet it was crazy 😜.I was all in and I won 🙌 a big pot up till this day I don’t know 🤷‍♀️ what I had .so I was HOOKED 🪝 .then the wsop game came out.so I was locked 🔒 down till I won 🙌 my first wsop Virtual bracelet 9999 bots 🤖 and me but after days of playing I Formulated a strategy and got better and this was before the GTO .anyway I could go on for hours go question 🙋‍♀️.

I got into poker when I was very very young, I learned from my father (the basics) but as time went on learning myself became a must so playing a lot of local games… clubs mostly became a part of my learning bare in mind when i first started to learn internet was barely a thing and getting material to learn off was hard to come by I didn’t by any stretch grow up in a third world county but i didn’t have money to buy courses or books and things like this what most of you younger generation have at your finger tips today so time was my best friend with the learning aspects of my game ….. I’m far from an amazing player but I try my best and I’m always willing to learn and I think my willingness to learn is what is always improving my game… none of us are perfect and learning sure is hard but even harder still is getting out of old bad habits which I’m sure my generation would agree 👌🏻 Anyway that’s my story folks BEST OF LUCK TO YOU ALL 👍🙏
