There are a lot of poker movies, but for me the best are Rounders, Deal, Cincinati hid, Lucky you, All in the poker movie although for me is a documentary

Can anyone post a CC review on Casino Jack? Does the movie contain a lot of poker playing? I didn't bother to read any reviews because I know whether to watch it based on what others tell me on this thread

This is a politcal movie and focuses on the career of Jack Abramoff, a lobbyist. Not a poker movie.

"Lucky You" Starring Eric Bana is the best poker movie made according to me.

Rounders was great too. Matt Damon played the character really well. But Lucky you was still the one that inspired me.

Also, i have heard from somewhere that Rounders 2 is in the making. It would be great if thats true. We may get to see the modern style of poker that people play these days.

Can't believe so many people liked 'Lucky You'. It was an abomination of a film where the writers seemed interested only in packing as many poker / Vegas cliches into it as possible.

The clumsy part where they shoe-horned in the fact that Huck was the only player not showing his hole cards to the cameras just so they could have the bit where he folds his aces to his dad, was toe-curling.

Drew Barrymore's character was horrific.

The famous poker players' acting performances were laughable and they really did not need to be there. 'Look out, Huck's in town, fasten your seatbelts.' Oh please!

Just terrible.

Rounders definetly the best i didnt know there was rounders two, but if anyone likes classics i recommend A Big Hand For The lucky Lady definetly interesting.

I thought it was a pretty good movie. I have the DVD.
