What poker movies to watch?

The film "Time", which was a great play by hand. And in a movie "Casino Royale" James Bond. In the second half of the movie was a lot of poker.

Apart from Rounders, what are some other poker movies people would recommend watching? I just can't seem to get enough of poker.

I would recommend "Shade", "Maverick", "The Cincinnati Kid"

I just saw Bet Raise Fold the story of online poker 2014 I will tell you it will make you sick to your stomach when you see what the pros we used to look up to like Phil Iveyy Chris Ferguson Annie Duke and others did with millions of dollars of players money and how they let full tilt go inn the tank I am so sick over this even though I never played on full tilt these people are basically scum of the earth you will see what I mean after watching it

"The Cincinnati Kid" and "A big Hand for A Little Lady" are the only ones I can recommend. And, yes I'm knowingly leaving out a film that's very popular with the poker crowd.

You guys are all trippin! The Grand is by far the best poker movie in the world. Not only is 100% of the movie about poker, but it has big name actors and features cameos from many poker pros. It is a comedy/Mock-u-mentary which I love comedies, and I am a tourney player and the Grand is about a big poker tourney.

I enjoyed The Grand a lot - what I think I liked most about it though was that most of it was improvised, including the entirety of the final table. That part wasn't scripted, they just sat the actors down a the table and let them play real poker, with no idea which of them was actually going to win.

Maverick. The movie is amazing. It conveys the atmosphere of the old west and the play by Mel Gibson is awesome. I recommend this movie for everybody whether you're involved in poker or not.

There is only 1 poker movie worth a damn and everyone knows that is rounders. All the other ones don't even compare at all. Which is kind of sad if you think about it Of course this is all my opinion others might feel diff...
