Why Russians play like maniacs?

vodka and balalaika dont give big time to play poker. so they (I dont say about good regular players, they do not different like any players from all the world) play stupid and very aggressive, had very bad behaviour to other players! YES, russian, for the most part of them, ARE MANIACS ...

Haha nice to see that I`m far from alone on this subject. I totally agree that the amount of money is a big factor, but than again that is very possitive for the rest of the wolrd in the long run. simply cause they have money to spent.cant explain it otherway.i play micro tournaments and freerolls and i have seen everything from them.notions such as ''dominated'' and others have lost their meaning against them...

Do not generalize all under one ruler. Just Russian plays a lot here and it seems that only they play like maniacs. I personally do not like the Romanians players. Often they go to allin a small card. It's frustrating, when small card wins premium hand. They play like maniacs usually young players.

Weel, I can understand. If you play shoving all times with any kind of cards, there will be a math chance to be ITM. Just play like that in 1000 freerolls and you will get a little bankroll. With a huge lot of luck, win some MTT.

But is a lottery style of game, not really a sport. I don’t understand why people prefer spend hours playing like that TH instead Black Jack or roullete.

They are freaking lucky actually

You may not believe me, but always when I risk an All In against a Russian I've ALWAYS lost. Even when I have something that I have 90% chance of winning until river, the last card makes my Russian opponent wins all the freaking time. That's the why I never go against a Russian when I depend exclusively on luck.

I don’t have a lot of luck with then too. Most times I catch then bluffing, I lose for worse hands...

Actually not only Russian players play like maniacs. If we look say into the freerolls so I play almost all, irrespective of nationality. I just think people have nothing to lose and can't meet in a serious game.

Unless the Russian risk ??? If you take for example the freerolls play like maniacs 80% of the players, regardless of nationality, but Russian mazol eyes because they are the majority prevails in such tournaments. Russian love a freebie, do not buy a license Russian movie, and download the tracker or online broadcast significant boxing match on HBO.

Russians are great to play with because their play is so predictable. Many of them make classic fish moves which turn their hands face up. I think I'm yet to see one play pocket aces well, other than the times they get to call all in preflop.

I have found some tendencies which are just hilarious when you're experiencing them.

UTG limp-reraise or call jam flop - there's not much point isolating a russians limp UTG with a medium hand because you tend to find yourself in one of two situations. Either you will be limp reraised, or they will simply jam over your cbet on the flop every time. They do this with ALL of AA, KK QQ KK AK. Never do I see them raise 3x or 4x. They must think that by raising, they're 'giving their hand away'.

Betting POT on every street, with ANYthing which constitutes a part of the board.

I suppose it has it's benefits on their part because it makes floating much harder.

buy does it piss me off though sometimes!
