Yeah I don't know why people even ask this question at this point. Can you make money from poker... Of Course!! Are people going to give you money to play poker... Of Course Not!! It's a very competitive game played for money. Those who put in the time to study theory and develop a winning strategy are going to win in the long term, those who don't wont. You have a wonderful resource here for you to start developing the skills to be a winning player right here, The Cardschat community!

In the end the game is human vs human so of course there is edge to be had, you just need to put in the time to grow yours.

I'm not a big winner by no means. But I do manage to keep 180 in BCP and 40 in BOL. How I don't know.. I play everything....and try to grow the daily BE.

I have made money from playing Poker, and I can tell you it is hard work. Have I made a living from playing Poker? Far from it, if I added all my winnings from different sites over the last 20 years, I would still be far away from my first $1,000.
Poker does not need to be about money all the time, sometimes I play for the conversation I have with friends around a table in a Live game, On-line, I can play for the practice, and to hone my skills, The rest of The World might rotate around making money, I am not one of them.
Poker to me is a hobby, a pastime that I enjoy, a simple game and nothing more, If I needed to make money, I would certainly find a better way of doing it, with lower risk's and better returns, I play for FUN! and----

what a question... of course you can, its possible to make money in black jack its just aceppt that you are winning go out and enjoy you profit.

the truth is that it takes time to you get good enough to be a profit player. And its even more hard to notice that you become profit since you need to look into a long amount of games and see your ROI.

I'm of the same opinion dear friend, AK always has a lot of options to connect one of these over a pair of JJ's but still not a bad hand when you can find several players in the betting round, because many have high cards or a draft they are looking to achieve.

I'm an accountant, so I've kept track over the years, ever since I started playing online with Paradise Poker.

I actually have a very small proft, but nothing that you could even remotely call, livable.

I did toy with the idea of trying to make a go at it, but after researching probabilities, and amounts, I'm glad I didn't.

I would like to win the Sunday Storm, however, then I'd be able to brag...lol.
