Of course you can, but it seems that the hardest thing is to keep the money you win, because the money that comes easily is even easier to spend.

On average, I play poker 3-5 hours a day. So, on average, I play 25-35 hours a week. I manage to get a monthly profit of $ 300-500. Honestly, it is hard for me to say that I have earned this money quickly.
Cashgame?

I prefer tournaments, and in most cases I play in satellite tournaments.

You can, most importantly, keep your bankroll right, and constantly improve your level of play

I only played freerolls when I started learning. And I was able to play profitably at micro-stakes. To make money in poker, you will need the help of a coach. At serious limits, without learning, playing a plus-size is impossible, at micro-no problems

It is not, easy or every1 would be doing it. I think it's more about practice and more practice. Then after you figure out the game then its about seeing more hands and getting more experience on the tables. Good luck and crush it.

You can make money at anything. picking up cans, looking for change and playing poker. What you are willing to risk and the amount you wanting to make.

When you mention short term, not sure how you would approach that with best outcome,

but tournamets sometimes al long 5 hours to reach final table or be ITM, cash game is better

If you only play for fun and freerolls only, all your winnings are for free. When you start thinking, oh, I win, I should try to play bigger games, you might be lost. Everybody there wants to win there, and the fish-pools are full of sharks. So never play above your limits and never get greedy. So you will never lose fun in poker. That's the best win ever!

You can make money with poker. But it costs a lot of mental strength and nerves.

Yes of course, I regularly win $ 10 in free tournaments, for example the daily poker start tournament. Only my problem is that after that I spend it much too quickly on sports betting again. If you kept everything you win, freerolls could make you a few hundred dollars a year.

I would say yes .Of course if you are constant .full of patience, that you have learned to coordinate frequent study with number of hands in play, that is, volume of number of hands with good results .. know that in the long term if I have completed your goals, starting in order, from the micro limits, as far as you can go, the same game will tell you that you are already a winner .. order, patience, perseverance and your luck will make you a long-term winner. we are already winners friends ... positive mind .. .Yes you can ...

Yes, you can, easily actually.

You really can, and honestly it isn't that difficult. Learning a solid foundation and pairing it with a solid understanding of ranges and tendencies of the majority of players should be enough to make you a winner at low stakes. I highly recommend starting with low stakes MTT's 1-5$ Buyins and using a simplified strategy. If you are able to study and learn a solid pre-flop & post-flop strategy and be able to execute it on a regular basis, you will crush these stakes quite quickly. I will link you some study material that will help you get this foundation at the bottom.

I recommend trying low stakes/low field MTT's on sites such as GGpoker/ACR. GGpoker has a great night time line-up of 1-5$ MTT's that normally have been 60-200 players and offer smaller guarentees, but following a set strategy and putting in the volume of games will prove to bring you success.

The reason that 95% of poker players are losing players is quite simple, they don't want to learn anything, don't want to put any effort into anything, and nobody ever admits when they are wrong. Also if you look at the population as a whole, most people are low IQ, and if you have ever been to a casino, the majority of players there are also not the brightest, there is no real difference online(until we get into high stakes).

Try reading some of Jonathan Little's poker books on MTT's and watch his videos on YouTube. After you get a good understanding of the basics, give the BBZ Apestyles bundle a try which will enforce these good fundamentals and discuss general population tendencies much more. If you play on sites that allow a HUD, use a HUD. Buy it, watch videos on YouTube on how to use it, and use it to exploit players. There are lots of free materials on the web that can help you, but I would say investing 200-300$ to get your journey started on materials might even give you the motivation you need to keep going :p

One more very important thing I wan't to talk about is mindset. You need to learn to take bad beats, we all have them, they happen, shut up about them. I have a friend who thinks he is the unluckiest player in the entire world and messages me daily with his badbeat stories. We all have those days, it happens, suck it up and move on. KEEP GRINDING, STUDYING, and ... GRINDING!:D:D:D:D:D

Many people believe that poker is a game of chance in which winning depends on the will of chance. This card game is put on a par with bookmakers and casino games, considering that only the owners of poker rooms can earn money from playing cards.
But this is not the case. :)
Poker is a game with mathematical probabilities, so a professional player can not only earn a living, but also provide for his entire family.
