Personally I find MTT's to be the most fun, but they're just complete luck boxes. Especially in the middle~late stages where it's just a giant shoving contest. Can you really say the winner of ak v 77 is a better player?
Cash games provide way more consistent money, and require way more solid skill. That being said, cash games are way slower and boring than tournaments, but the skillset is completely different.

Depends on the perspective, imo. I can start up a cash table whenever I want, play as many hands and as many tables as I want, and quit whenever I want.
If I have 15 minutes to spare, I could log on, open up 6 tables and play 100 hands.

If I have 15 minutes to spare, I won't even consider starting a tournament.
Not sure that I'd ever consider cash "slower". ;)

Also, in a tournament I'll likely be playing tighter (folding more) and towards the end I'll basically eliminate all thinking and will essentially be following a push-fold chart. Which I consider boring.

Like I said: depends on the perspective. :)

I prefer to play MTTs, but I keep trying to think of new ways to grind Cash Games, so far I think six handeds are much better.

cash

Cash games great if you can scoop a few big ones and leave. Tournies take so long and rebuy tournies have alot of early allins.

Tournaments are more "funny"... they demand you to change your strategy in all their phases and, if you have a good day you can cash a great prize... i think cash strategy it's too systematic...

Both, one calls the other, basically I practice in tournaments and use in cash games. I believe that we can't to play just one, I started playing cash after tournament, and I never wanted to stop. The game won me over!

I prefer tournaments , cause in cash games I don't like that I'm losing too much money , at least on a tournament ( or a sng ) I can control the amount of money I am going to spend . Furthermore , in cashgames I'm way far more vornurable to tilt than tournaments . I like that when I play a tour I know the min and the max time it will last , in contrast to a cash game , where when I play usually it lasts not long . Last , I like that in tours it doesn't matter so much the stats in comparison to cash games , so that's sth good for decision making .
