Do you prefer to play Online poker or Live poker?

I don't particularly have a solid preference myself. Seems to be whatever kind of mood I am in at that time. Online is convenient and I can grind multiple tables so the action rarely ever stops. That being said I really like live poker, talking to other players, winning big hands, etc...nothing like live poker.

I think if I had to give up one or the other- I would go more to the live side of poker.

I like both options, each in its good, in living play more interesting, but not always perhaps, but there is an alternative online poker, so that I for both options, they complement each other

I like the experience more when playing live.
But the game variance is better online. Some form of online poker is just not possible live, like zoom, complicated bounties...

Both of them are equally liked, alas, offline is practically unavailable except for game zones, which require a lot of time and additional expenses that I can afford but which do not add to my pleasure.

i like the comfort of being at home and playing a torny or sit and go. But I also like live because it’s more real you know reading people and all that. But I gotta be in the mood to go play live. So over all online. I just wish they would legalize it in pa!!

Live, it's easier to read the other players, although online is good too, but it's more knowing your %'s, although you can read a lot of players who don't know they have betting patterns. :*):stoned::stoned:

after the break, I didn’t play for about a year, I only play online poker. I think that this is a convenient way, since it’s hard to get together with other people lately.

Live poker in the nature is awesome, we had several such sessions already and increasing the number.

The best poker session I've ever had was at start of July this year. We've rented a wooden bungaloo on a pierce in the lake, and played a cash game. 6 of us and 10 fishing rods with bells in the water. It's sooo fun, when the bell rings, and you stand up to pick up the fishing rod and have a fight with a fish together with telling guys what you're going to do during the deal.

It was funny, cause one from our company came with us for poker only and he didn't wanted to catch any fish, he was riving the first car, and the other guy who was driving the second car didn't wanted to pay for the bungaloo, until we pay our shares for the fuel... And at the end of the day, both of them a) haven't drinked b) have lost all their money c) one of them haven't even caught a single fish, cause he didn't wanted to I was down like 20 euro, but it was ok. One guy who bought expensive drinks and haven't asked a penny for them at the end was in plus approx +250 Euro and caught more than 10Kg of fish in total.

It's nice, wooden bungaloo, 20 meters away from the shore, drinks, grill, poker, fishing. Nice day away from wifes, kids and gfs.

Hmm... Its depend of situation. More often i play online and sometimes for fun i play offline in club or with friends...

I only play online, there are many types of tournaments and tournaments are faster. Where I live there are no places to play so there would also be travel, food and lodging costs.

I like playing live more, but time constraint prevents me from playing a lot. With online i can play a lot more.

I prefer to play poker online because you can play whenever and wherever you want. Another advantage is that there is more action, can play several tables at the same time and is more profitable because there are more recreational players especially in micro-stakes.

I think if anyone wants to be a better poker player, he should play more live games as you'll likely come up against good players. Unlike online where you find many at lower stakes to be jerking off time by playing poker, not a good environment to improve. Play with good players, you'll improve.
