Do you prefer to play Online poker or Live poker?

i like playing live poker it's much more fun you can read the movements of your opponents​

In my opinion I prefer to play live poker. I really like the idea of being able to see my opponent, see his reactions, hear the noise of the chips and smell the cards. But in the second opinion, as the great chess player Bobby Fischer would say, silence gives us more focus and concentration. That is a positive point of playing poker online.

Well that's a strange question for me... How's that? When is so simple question? Well in my country live games are only allowed in one big casino and I really don't have that kind of a budget to play regularly there, I go there to play sometimes tournaments but that's not so often that I will be in the possibility to give you a definite answer.
BUT we have friendly tournaments where 7-8-9 of us plays a tournament with 2 rebuys and winner takes 70, 2nd place 30% and that's it.
We have some illegal places with 2-3 tables and that's it, I like to go there... Actually I play better in RL than online because I'm more patient and I have bigger responsibilities so I play more seriously. Imagine that you have to go to the tournament for couple of hours, need organisation to come and go all in in the first hand with AK? Or call with AK? Via Internet I will call, in live no, only AA, KK and QQ are the hands to call like that. Understand the difference?
But still I never tried the place where you have a bunch of tables to chose the game what ever I want.

I totally agree there is a lot to be said for the peace and quiet but I miss my Tuesday nights at my local playing with all the regulars for a seat in a regional poker tourney and we keep it small stakes
We only pay £5 buy in and all money is paid out to the top 3 players each week, but the best part is the top 4 players in the league we run get to compete in a regional tourney in Manchester for bigger payouts for free

I would prefer to play live poker more often and more,because it is another sensation another emotion when you are face to face with other players, it is beautiful and nice to play online but it never compares to live, strictly my opinion.

Back before the pandemic, I preferred live play. You can get so many more reads at the table and use speech play to perfection.

I much prger playing live. Besides not being at a disadvange from bots and programs, in a live game you can read the other players and focus more on the game.

Live poker is much mora fun. You can give a lot away in the time between when you look at your cards and when you play, so you want to minimize your opponents’ opportunity to read you. You could use body language as a weapon of disinformation. How you look at your cards is also important. If you’ve waited until your turn, now the entire table is looking at you, so it is important to be consistent in your physical action.

Live!

Nothing better then live poker. I do play a lot of online poker as well though. However I very much prefer live tournament style poker. Nothing better then seeing someone's face when you read them right and call their bluff. To each their own though.

Live poker is cool, but can be a time waste compared to online poker. But live you have way more information from the other players and can be way more fun. I love both, but now if I had to choose i definitively choose online poker

I hate online poker for a reason, u can always take a huge badbeat....from nowhere... many posibilities.
On live poker i always finished on the podium or first. I look for some really good opponent to beat me on live... but i live in vanuatu... its hard to play live there... we dont have tournament... only bonus holdem poker but u dont play against other players , only against the dealer... its boring...:boring:
