Repeat;

  • I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

if you're gonna make the jump from freerolls/play money into real money, definitely use bankroll management. Start with the smallest buy-in SnGs and MTTs.
Remember, it is still the same game. If you start thinking about the game differently because it's real money then you'll start making bad decisions. Sometimes i find myself doing that, playing too cautiously

Yeah, same game same rules with totally different betting consequences. The difference between br building in cash and br building in tourney's is significant. In cash games, your $1 dollar chips is always worth $1. In tourneys that changes and even though your $1 chips still says $1 on it, the value of that chips changes.

Investigate ICM (Independaent Chip Method or Model). Where you might find that the value of your stack, compared to the total number of chips in play (fixed and immutable) and your position in the tourney, give you a different POV, and different options.

there is nothing better than testing yourself playing quiet a lot playmoney sit n´goes to see how good you play, if you win them in a row its maybe the time to bring real money into it, but you should also give some mtt freerolls a try

Read up on your poker, study, and only play with what your comfortable with losing. This is my golden rule of poker, if your uncomfortable, your playing with too much

if you feel you are the type to lose all your money, you shouldnt be gambling imo. if you lack the self control to not blow the mortgage on poker then you have a problem and should not play at all
