Oh, i play poker since the year 1857... i'll never forget those days... ( ^.^)
My wife had died from typhus and my friends taught me how to play poker to help me move on in my life.. When the civil war broke out in 1861, i enlisted in the army, so i didn't really play poker all that much during that period although we did play in our barracks sometimes using musket-balls instead of pokerchips... After the war, i started playing poker in local bars where i was able to make a decent living with my poker earnings. I had everything that i had ever wanted, a big house and a new wife.
i kept on playing poker at bars and
casinos during the early 1900's until i was sent to Europe in 1944 to fight in the second world war, where i learned to play 5 card poker at Omaha Beach... After a few months however, i got severely wounded and was sent back to my home town for treatment.
in the late 90s, i started playing online poker which sounded interesting to me because of my old age.. Things didn't go very well for me though. i've lost all the money that i have made throughout the centuries... i completely lost my mind and was eventually sent to a mental institution where i remain till this day.
Nowadays i sit behind my old Windows XP computer trying to get back in the game by playing Cardschat Freerolls on Pokerstars...
