I disagree. I thought the shove was brilliant! In many circumstances (large parts of Weinman's range) he would've needed to fold to the rrai (What hands do you think he could call there in THAT spot facing the allin and HUGE ICM implications???). My thoughts, maybe QQ+ (maybe not even QQ). In many cases, Dan would've folded and would've put Walton in great shape. I honestly think Walton played an amazing game... definitely the most feared player at the table.

If you're way behind you need to take some risks .It didn't work that time but at least Jones went for it !

At that point, they are basically playing a 10 million dollar freeroll. 1st gets 8.1 million, 2nd gets 2.5 million, and 3rd gets nothing. I guess Walton was pretty sure both Weinman and Jones didn't have a real hand to insta-shove like that.

If I were in his spot, I would have let Jones and Weinman fight it out, pocket the 2.5 million when one gets knocked out, then play heads up for the last 5.6 million I guess that's why I'm stuck playing freerolls.
