Definitely Lower. bankroll management reasons. Never go for more than x% of account on a single buy in.

Everything really depends on the bankroll, of course the larger the higher buyins. And if we don't have a big bankroll and we want to play in a tournament with a large buy-in, we can try to win a place in satellites.

I made a major mistake..to play tourneys that are 5% of my bankroll...Needless to say what happened in a row for few months ) Avoid playing in higher buy-in tourneys without being backed up!

I play lower buy ins here, 30-60$ because my bank does not support bigger entries at the moment[emoji24] , but preferably I would like to be playing among the big fishes[emoji226]!! Although my skills are not adapted to the upper limit.. At the high limits, we don't see so much of the players risking all their chips at random. It is best to agree with your bankroll for better results.. Either live or online! GL![emoji41]

I think it all depends on your bankroll, there are many desires, but few opportunities.

The value depends on the moment. What I can afford without affecting my bankroll. I only play what I can pay and develop my game with no pressure if I loose.
Never gamble the money you can´t afford to loose !
Today is like maximum 5 dollars online and Live maximum 50 dollars buy in.
Cheers,
M.D.

It depends a lot on your bankroll and consequently on the level of your game, in the lower stakes tournaments you will find weaker players, as well as in the higher stakes more experienced players..so it depends on you...

Lower because that's what my bankroll allows. However, I normally try to play pretty tight at first because tons of noobs who will play like any hand. Would love to get into some higher buy-ins soon!

I prefer the lower because that's all I can afford for now. The higher would be nice for maximizing potential earnings though.

Honestly I play much higher stakes in my live poker club with friends. Something about having the chips in front of you and the cards in your hand and the players faces in front of you that gives me more confidence. Yes I enjoy playing online tournaments but tend to stay at $20 or less.....
