It depends on the day and the game! If you are a good tourer, you can reserve 4 to 9 hours a day. And that's the time I set aside to play (on weekends, of course)

4 hours with several cigarette breaks, but I much prefer about one-hour sessions on two/three tables at the same time.

A full MTT to late stages is pretty much the max for me, not entering anything else after that.

the longest session lasts 8-9 hours such tournaments I play on Saturdays and Sundays to feel good and play in peace on weekdays I play tournaments from 4-6 hours so as not to tire myself and go to bed peacefully after that I play different tables from 2-5 if they are small tournaments

I think my longest poker session was approximately 11 hours. I had made it to 2 final tables in tournaments where the structure was slow.

On average, I play 4-5 hours a day. There is no time for poker anymore. My longest session lasted probably about 10 hours. Sometimes on weekends I play longer.

When I've started playing poker online like ~10 years ago, I remember having really bad time management and over the weekend I had some crazy long session* like 15+ hours where I've barely took any breaks(also I've slept few hours...); nowadays though I limit my sessions to 4-6 hours and I've noticed that my results are better overall as I agree with the statement made by a few members that it's tougher to keep playing your A game in longer sessions(for example on Unibet you can see how long a tournament will last and I just don't register tournaments that will extend my sessions- nowadays it's pretty easy to manage your time even when grinding mtts...).

GLGL all at the tables!

Twenty-one years ago I played a tournament for 9 hours. I won it but it was exhausting. Fortunately I didn't have to work that morning when it finished. It was like doing a double shift, which I did frequently back then.

I can play poker for a very long time, 8 hours or more, but I don't always succeed because poker is not my main earnings, unfortunately

pentazepam said:
Minha sessão mais longa durou pouco mais de 50 horas. 2 dias apenas com pausas para ir ao banheiro.

Nada que eu recomende.
That way I wouldn't be able to. I've played 14 hours, but 50... 50 isn't just 2 days, it's two days and two hours.

My longest session seems like another lifetime ago it's been so long. I used to play a lot back when I first started playing god missing being young and having so much extra energy lol. Anyway my long session was likely easily 15+ hours double tabling full-ring 50nl on Pokerstars. Yes as you can imagine I was exhausted when I finally logged off. Ironically though even though I was completely exhausted and drained it still took me over an hour to fall asleep when I went and laid down. My mind just didn't and wouldn't shut right off like my body was ready too. Just kept replaying and going over the big hands, pots, loses and wins.

Fwiw finished up a few hundred if I remember correctly. Gave back $100 or so the last hour and 30 mins making pretty questionable calls and decisions. Not my finest moments lol. Competition back then was so soft didn't much matter much.

Cheers!!!
