I only play on PC, I even play mobile games through an emulator on PC. I want to keep my phone battery in a liquid state for as long as possible.

I tend to play more games on the cell phone, but on the computer it's a thousand times better. Even for us to play several rooms, concentration... Notifications on the cell phone, not to mention that changing rooms a lot sometimes reload the page.

In general, when I know that a person plays on a phone, I automatically consider him a weak player, because he does not take his session seriously.

Honestly, I’m pretty much like you — I switch between phone and PC depending on the situation.
The phone is super convenient, especially when I’m out or just relaxing on the couch. You open the App in seconds and play a few spins or some blackjack without any hassle.
But when I’m planning a longer session or want to track things more carefully, I immediately go back to the PC. The big screen makes a difference — everything’s clearer and smoother, especially for live games or when I have multiple games open.

Lately though, I’ve noticed more and more people are playing exclusively on mobile, even in tournaments… so I’d love to hear from others: has mobile really taken over for you? Or does the big screen still have its magic? 😄

I only use the mobile app in emergency situations — for example, if my internet goes down, I quickly switch to mobile data and finish the tournament that way.

I agree! PC is best for focused, longer sessions, but mobile is perfect for quick and casual play. I switch too depending on time and mood.

Poker software is poorly optimized for PC, which causes my laptop to overheat quickly. On the other hand, I still prefer playing on a laptop rather than on mobile, simply because it feels more professional and convenient. It's also more comfortable overall, with a mobile device, you constantly have to stare at a small screen, which, in my opinion, tires out my eyes much faster.

Good morning everyone. Playing poker on a PC with a large monitor is ideal
for increasing volume, meaning playing a lot of MTTs.
It's possible to play on laptops, but the capacity for playing a lot of MTTs is significantly reduced.
On a cell phone, however, it's only for emergencies. I've had a situation where I was at the end of a MTT and the power went out, and my cell phone saved me.
Grinding on a cell phone, I don't think, is an advantage.

It's more likely that your PC has not enough ram or other Specs that are not ideal to play Poker and therefore causes the overheating.

And apart from that there are many, different Poker Softwares. Basically none of them are "poorly optimized for PC."

What makes you sure in that? I have 32gb RAM and therefore know alot about my Laptop or PC. It definetly is poorly optimized. I did several test and mesured the temperature. First device was a Macbook Pro Retina with 16GB (you might say, this laptop is old), but wait, also i did one on windows with 32gb RAM. temperature raised on 75Celsius while my idle temperature is arround 35-40C.

And btw. badly optimized does not mean, that you visually see anythink according to that. I especially mentioned temperature. If you have a PC and dont care about those thinks of youre you wont notice them. But in long term 75C seems to me alot for just "running" the software. Its not even included 4 windows. And of course i cant proove that just with my own experience but iam sure i red about this also on reddit. If you need a reference i might look for it.

I play a lot more on my phone then I used too. Its a lot more mobile and versatile. Though for longer session (longer than an hour) I'd prefer PC all day.

Hello, the truth is that for me it would be more comfortable from the PC, but because I work and then I see what to do at home, the only way for me to be able to play something during the day is through my cell phone.

If it's a serious game for high stakes, then of course, only PC. The same goes for MTT tournaments. Low stakes or freerolls, it doesn't matter to me what I play.

I’m the same mobile’s great for quick hits or when I’m not home, but nothing beats the control and clarity of a PC setup. Bigger screen, better multitabling, easier tracking… it just feels more serious. Phone’s for casual play, PC’s for grinding.

Hi,
PC is the most convenient but when I don't have it I play it on my phone and it's an interesting tournament but I don't really like it.
