Cash games are much more flexible as you can play as long or as little as you like. For me more interesting too as you are playing deeper stacked.

I would also choose to play tournaments; it's where I get my best performance, as much as I like the "dynamics" of cash games...

I prefer tournaments because when playing for money, it's rare that I don't end up losing money.

If you have $10 to play and try to multiply, which format would you choose?
Personally, I prefer tournaments. The upside is bigger, but the downside is the time commitment — it can easily last 3 hours or more.
hi all , I'd say go for which format you have an edge in .... from the time aspect , I guess if you have a reasonable edge in cash games , then do that ,
the bad part with cash games is that if you get stuck , then the games can go on for hours and lead to even more losses,
MTT at least you're just trying to get ITM , once achieved , then start looking for a deep run , of course the same applies , you need to have
a good ITM percentage in MTT to grow that BR , I have about a 33% chance of ITM , so thats good for me I guess :) , a work in progress :p

I'd always play in a tournament format. Anytime of day. But I go for cash games if between friends and families.

with $10... cash game ainec! It wouldn't take long to turn $10 into $20 playing some 2nl cash tables. (maybe an hour?).
So 1 hr. later I could choose both, $10 on MTT's, and keep the other $10 to continue to make more playing 2nl tables.

I prefer tourney play, you have the additional ICM factor.

Tournament for the glory but cash games for the bills, honestly. Tournaments are a total grind where you can play perfect for hours and still get stacked by a donkey hitting a two-outer on the bubble, but nothing beats that final table adrenaline.

Якби у вас було 10 доларів для гри та ви спробували б помножити їх, який формат ви б обрали?
Особисто я надаю перевагу турнірам. Переваги більші, але недоліком є часові витрати — вони легко можуть тривати 3 години або більше.
I would play freerolls and tournaments with buy-in $0.25

Maybe the right answer is sngs and cash games . But still I prefer tournaments cause they are more interesting, better prizes and great thrill moments of you go deep or close to the FT But they demand a great amount of time

At tournaments you'll take a long time to loose cheap buy in.
At cash you'll loose big amounts very quicly. Pick your choice.
