There is a way to use a bonus without using any of your bankroll.
When you get a bonus you first use your bankroll to register for tournaments (make sure they don't start for at least several hours). After this your bankroll will be tied up and you can then use the bonus without affecting your bankroll.
When the bonus is gone, or you are done playing it for the time being, you simply unregister for those tournaments and restore your bankroll.

I did it the other day and it works just fine. I had $15.60 cash and a $10 casino bonus, I registered for $15.60 worth of tourneys then used the bonus until there was just $0.03 left then unregistered for the tourneys...

Great a solution well played orsino12 withdrawal though that requires self control until use all the tickets and bonuses you care about first anybody try to withdraw yet?

I made a withdrawal right before the new terms and conditions came into effect and won't be making another one, no matter what my bankroll is, until using the ticket for the $100k freeroll coming up in just over a week.

I actually enjoy finding loopholes or workarounds for obstacles that sites throw up regarding bonuses or tickets, it makes beating the house a little bit sweeter.:D

As soon as I get a bonus that's good for poker I'll see how those work under the new conditions.

So it looks like 888 does let you know which tickets will be forfeited if you make a withdrawal.

I was just looking over my tickets and the casino mix-up ticket has a special notation next to it.
This is the only ticket I have that says it will be forfeited if I make a withdrawal.

The new terms and conditions aren't as bad as it first seemed, there is a way to use bonuses without impacting your bankroll and obviously I'd use up any bonus before a withdrawal, and it doesn't appear many tickets are affected by the new terms and conditions.

Can you withdraw this quantity of money?

and what is this loophole? just sitting with all your bankroll at a table on sitout and then play on another table or in the casino with the bonus? its possible they flag you for bonus abuse if you do that i guess...:fight:

888 should not flag us in bonus abuse as it is very much impossible to prove it.
Though 2 days ago I got a call from 888 support where a manager asked me why am I making a lot of complaints recently on Live chat?

888 wants me to use the email service more than Live support.

Actually whenever I wanted to make a deposit I were used to workout a 10% bonus from the Care. Whenever I received a Casino freeplay, I did able to turn it into Cash bonus by requesting to the Live support and I am sure any 888 manager had noticed it and thus called me.

Whats the ‘ kickoff ‘ tourney all about anyway. Anyone ever get invited? Did the invite come with any explanation?

Cheers
You can get a ticket for the Kickoff Tournament by either signing up to 888 as a referred friend or winning a ticket through a scratchcard. It's basically a freeroll where the top 100 players get a $12 tournament ticket.

I guess I can't complain too much about the bonus system.

888 sucked me into depositing with one of those "instant" bonuses yesterday. It was only a $15 bonus, but less than 1 day later I cleared it for $216.07:D

The wagering requirements to clear these bonuses are "almost" impossible, 100x (slots), 500x (even money roulette) or 1000x (blackjack).

The only way to even have a chance is to be very aggressive and incredibly lucky. I let it all ride 3 times in a row on even money roulette which brought the $15 to $120 then hit the slots and had a good run.

I gotta admit, it feels really good to clear a bonus so soon after they changed the terms and conditions.:p

Having played on 888 since before when it was known as Pacific Poker, sadly I have to agree that it has gone from being the best pite for bonuses, freerolls etc, it is now rubbish.
Connection issues, impossible to clear bonuses, disappearing freerolls etc.
Sadly though it seems to be the same with all sites, they all want to squeeze every penny from their customers but hate giving us anything back.
I remember when getting 30% rakeback was common and 10 years ago I worked as a prop getting 80% rakeback. Happy Days.

but for doing that you had to first touch the money in your bankroll no? did you loose it all before you were able to play with the bonus? thanks for that information.

No, I didn't touch my bankroll at all. If you look back a few posts I showed that there is a loophole, if you use your bankroll to register in tournaments (preferably ones that start 12 hours or more in the future in case you run into connection problems) your bankroll is tied up and you can use the bonus directly. As soon as you either lose the bonus, get tired and take a break from playing the bonus, or you actually clear the bonus then you simply unregister for the tournaments and your bankroll is restored.

I already pulled all but $9 out of 888 and already have the money so it's all good.:)

Money won on 888 from freerolls has no strings attached, it can be withdrawn as soon as it's won.

The way things are headed on 888 I wouldn't be at all surprised if that doesn't change in the future, but for now it's all good.

I have never liked any bonus on any online poker room.It just makes you play more and probably lose more, but that also depends on where you play and deposit your money.

Every day the life of a poker player is getting better and more fun. (sarcasm)

Everyday the complaining and holding out your hand for free shit is louder and louder......almost as if it was still the early days of online poker and endless bonuses and free stuff still existed (not sarcasm)

Companies change over time. Belts tighten. Bonuses and discounts become less and less frequent

I still get tickets to events simply for making a deposit and I wonder how long that will continue on the two sites I play on.

Not ripping you personally, but it still surprises me how many “legends” just don’t get it. It’s the year 2020. Nothing is the same as it was in the early 2000’s

There are still some freerolls with free money awarded , 888poker has imo , still now , the best offers in freerolls and freebuys .

These new rules I also don't like them , makes it harder to win from bonuses and free tickets , but on the other hand it's their free money or tickets , so they have to win sth (rake ) to give you this money , they don't freezr the rest of your csh balance until you make the wagering , if you fail they just remove these extra bonuses or tickets . Also , there are some very good players who can wager the necessary money , or pay the neccessary rake , and win these bonuses :)
