Even if they dont care then it is still so much easier to get limitations to your account ...
For example some time ago someone started with three 100€ bets in some place (which all won) and as a result he was fortunate enough to be limited to 1€ bets immediately lol ...

I didn't say they should, I said if they didn't care about the money they would give it back. Also in general I believe the poster as their are many other examples floating around the internet (some with documents uploaded), which show these companies confiscating peoples money for absurd reasons.

For example, PokerStars had to pay $731 million to settle an fraud complaint with the U.S government. Why did they do this? Because obviously some of the things they are doing is fraudulent.

This is just how these companies choose to operate.

You are taking fundiver's comment out of context. It is not reasonable to think that regardless of the circumstances they should give every refund ever asked for regardless of the amount and circumstances.

What they were saying is that it is not even reasonable to think they would care so much about $600 that they would purposely cheat a player out of it.

Well I guess my point would be, that if they didn't care about the money there wouldn't be so many people saying they got ripped off in similar ways.

Obviously to cheat someone out of $600 is not really worth it. But if you cheat some guy out of $600, and another guy out of $120,000, and another guy for $120, and another guy for $4000, ect ect. That $600 turns into millions upon millions of dollars of free money.

This is an example of why these sites do this. This guy has conceded his $600 over fighting with them for it. To be honest if I was ripped off for $600 by PokerStars, I would probably do the same as this guy. Unfortunately for them however they tried to rip me off for almost $4000.

These sites are scammers guys. Make no mistake. They might not have scammed you, but that doesn't mean they aren't trying to scam other people.

There are some people who are actually good at sportsbetting. If somebody is constantly making profitable bets the site loses money. The site obviously does not want that. Even if it's just $600 now, that could turn into them losing tens of thousands down the road.

You win $600 here, $400 one month, maybe you lose $200, but then maybe you win $1000. The site has to pay that. They don't want to pay thousands of dollars to some guy that's somehow found an edge on their system.

So they in turn ban the customer, and a lot of times try to steal their money. This is just what these companies do. They have behaved like this for a long time.

You are missing the point though, it's not $600. This is just one guy. There are thousands upon thousands of examples like this. If you look at the totality of the picture, $600 turns into millions of dollars.

Blocking, checking, in fact I passed it, but limited the use of their bonus program with the wording that I made minimum deposits with bonus codes. and this contradicts their philosophy. It would make more sense for them to just not give him any more bonuses, rather than confiscate all of his winnings. Otherwise it just sounds like a petty excuse not to pay out.

But, as you said, we can't be sure of the situation...I would love to see an official take on it from 888rep.

Not if all his winnings originated from an abused bonus. If you originally win X dollars in a way, you are not allowed to, and then later turn those X dollars into Y, then none of the money rightfully belong to you. I dont trust anything, this person write. I think, he is completely full of shit and just trying to flame a site, who most likely had good reasons to ban him

the unlawful internet gambling enforcement act that passed in 2006. Pokerstars paid fines for operating in the US and closed to the US market, they are now the only site from that time allowed to regulate in the US in certain states that allow internet poker. That case has absolutely nothing to do with this post at all.

I think for a company like 888 your profit of 600 dollars is not a reason to block the account. I know people who withdrew for 8-9k dollars and the account was not booked. In any case, they are obliged to withdraw the 600 bucks to you. Good luck with your support case

Yes because that would be great for business??? What an amazing marketing concept that would be!! Work at getting the sh1ttiest reputation possible in hopes of getting more customers??? Because they are way more interested in screwing good customers over vs. providing them with a service that will keep them coming back and that they'll very likely be telling many of their friends about.

This is very common for sports betters to be banned. In fact that is one of the reasons it's almost impossible to be a professional sports better. It's because they don't have a chance to win huge amounts of money because they all end up getting banned from every site relatively quickly.

It's not as common for them to ban you and steal your money, but that also happens. If they can find even the slightest justification to jack your money, they probably will.

From my understanding it's not about how much the bet is but more about if the bets are profitable. Apparently most operators have software which allows them to detect whether a player is taking advantage of deficiencies in their platform as well.
