Just played a freebuy. Game was already in progress for about an hour. I said self jump in its a freebuy. I had no intention of rebuying, so first hand KQs guy in front all in. i'm all in my 1000 starting stack.
and the next two guys go all in. out in first hand. Ace on the river.

Decided to give one a try. Entered 1/2 hr late. On 1st break now.

Format is not bad actually - 10 min blinds, free re-entries two times if you watch a promo video (I haven't tried this yet). Pays 63 out of $1,500 prize pool. We're down to 360 right now (from 1846).

Rebuys and add-ons are $2 each.

The thing I really like is that they have a variety of game types, not just full ring NL Hold'em. I'm playing 6-max PLO right now.

After the break. We're in the stupid phase right now as blinds are a little higher and folks are throwing their stacks in the middle with any hand. 317 remaining of 2066 entries. 85 have paid for rebuys after 1 hr 15 mins.

I lied about the payout structure. Just noticed that it actually pays 306 and we're at 131 right now (with only 93 rebuys). In a normal R&A tourney you would see a lot more rebuys at this point.

We're down to 61 after 2 hrs 25 minutes and the game seems to have locked up. Not a good sign.

At 2 hrs 35 mins I was able to register for an upcoming tournament so the whole site hasn't crashed (yet) but this tourney is still suspended.

Just checked my balance and they've added the $3 that I was at so I guess "currently suspended" means that it's over and we're not waiting for a fix?? The table is still open though so I'm not 100% sure. I think I've noticed in the past that ACR does add money to your account before tournaments actually end.

Overall, other than the suspension/crash, I have to say that I do like "Freebuy" format.

Just chatted with tech spt. She said it will be resuming in 5 minutes. Right after that they posted a message at the table saying that it will resume at 12:54 pm ET. Will be interesting to see if everyone waited.

Its says when you bust you can watch a promo video, I did not get any option for promo video yesterday and today. I informed the consultants there yesterday already but still no progress. I even have money stuck in buy in tournaments that did not even start. Apparently I have to wait 24/47 hrs. And yesterday afetr i advised the Jimmy guy he said I just have to re enter . Nothing will be deducted. When i re entered it deducted the re enter fee and his answer as well as Millie said there is nothing they can do i just have to play it. And you have to wait an hour for them to give you answers that is not even correct.

Nice - ACR credited my account with $11 for the cancelled tournament. Unfortunately they also cancelled the 2 pm ET Freebuy that I had registered for once I decided that I like this format. Oddly, the following one shows up in the schedule twice:

So ACR made this Freebuy series because of the the crashes they had over the past few months and took a long time to get all the freerolls and password protected freerolls back. The FIRST day of this series they cancel it. This is just too ridiculous now.

They're having technical difficulties and cancelled all tournaments for now. Not sure when they're getting them back.

Thats not a good sign, I know they had a lot of issues in the past but with the new software everything else runs smoothly here.
