I'm a United States player so finding decent freerolls is a pretty difficult thing. I usually play on Carbon for their $50 freeroll but the problem there is that you are playing against a field of usually over 2000 people! Hopefully I will qualify for the CardsChat freerolls soon though. I've got the posts, now I just need the time as a member ;)

Try Seals with Clubs. They have a small-field $5 freeroll every hour. It's pretty nice.

lol believe me i know what you mean, i just had a guy get it all in on the turn, with 6 10s, he had to call the raise preflop too to get the board 8 9 9 (2 of his suit) and then Queen which didnt help him, and he rivered the 7 after getting it all in, 24% chance of winning, and the MTT prior to that a guy called a HUGE raise for 2/3rds of his chips with a flush draw after limping in early with K 6s i had a straight so his only cards that could save him was the heart which he rivered and i lost again with a 86% chance of victory, if you cant win your 86% or even your 75% hands, how can i win my 50 50s lol

I've actually looked into them before, but I'm not a big fan of the whole BitCoin / no option for a check cash out method. Maybe it is just because I don't really understand their methods when it comes to cash out, but I've kind of always liked to get a check when I cash out of a site.

Pokerstars have many freerolls, as well as Full Tilt Poker (wich i think it is more acessible, by the way...)

Also know Poker 770 have daily $100 and $1000 weekly freerolls for those who join them by using the PokerStrategy reflink

I agree with most of the other post from the U.S. Carbon poker is a decent place for freerolls. I tried to get on betonline Propane Goat had recommended to no avail. When trying to load the software I received a connection error.

with freerolls on pokerstars you are just wasting your time because of huge amount of players... but if you really think its worth to play 3 hours for few cents then go for it..:) I would say 888poker has some more valueable freerolls, too bad that most of them are restricted. For example you have to register there through some special site.. but then there is a really small field of players and your chances to win something is huge.

FTP's country specific FR's seem like a worthwhile way to spend your time....

Betonline has MTT freerolls every hour. I just started playing there and so far I'm not that impressed with the software, as far as I can tell they don't even keep track of the average stack sizes in MTT's which makes me think that this site is aimed squarely at the recreational player only for the most part. The latest $100 freeroll had 1658 register with top 40 making money, #1 spot gets $18.00

The level of play is extremely soft so far from what I have seen. Lots of people willing to call all the way to the river with Jack high or less, tons of limpers seeing every flop.

A "decent" freeroll? Probably not, but with the sheer number of them they offer it's probably worth a try. I haven't looked at what they require to actually cash out, maybe I should before I spend a lot of time there.

Update: plenty of software bugs and Windows stepping in to shut down the client in the middle of tournaments. Even with the limited selection of rooms we have in the US you can find better than this.

CC freerolls are the best. Just get qualified for them. Intertops and Black Chips have some small freerolls that are decent.

Yes, i like fulltilt also....
My "big problem" is that i win money on FTP, them transfer it to PS, to play tournments with real money, and loose it all hehehe

Nevertheless, FTP is where i find easier to achieve money from freerolls

Without a doubt, the answer is here at Cardschat,,, the level of play here is second to none, with the exception of myself. My play has got better from playing against some of the best players that play freerolls. Almost everywhere else it's more like "Bingo" than poker. Just my thoughts.

Can't agree more. I do reasonably well in open freerolls but I'm new to CC freerolls and it's a whole different story. These are probably the best place to find a level of play that you would have to pay a lot to participate in, and you risk nothing.

As a U.S. player, I have been playing freerolls on Black Chip. Once in awhile I'll play on Playersonly and I just started an account on sealswithclubs just for kicks.

A lot of pokerstars freerolls are just qualifiers for a couple of weekly freeroll 'finals' at the weekend (where you can win money). I've just started using full tilt and there are loads of freerolls that have cash prizes but the fields are very big. Party poker has a few cash freerolls every day but again the fields are big. If you join up to a few different sites then you can freeroll all day long.

It's not. :p You just need to play a ton of them.

Also lotto tickets cost money; freerolls do not.

When I played regularly three years ago, there were a fair number of good freerolls to be found on Full Tilt and Pokerstars. I liked the smaller ones offered by sites like CC and others. Smaller fields, greater payouts.

I just started playing again and I find the options now are limited. The only full tilt ones seems to be the site sponsored ones. $100 prize pools spread over 27-45 players, with 3000-7500 players playing. The better option are the country specific ones. I play in the Canadian one, and there's maybe 900 players in it.

Playing freerolls other than NL hold'em can be good, because some fish just don't know how to play games like HORSE or Razz for example.
