What online poker site should I commit to ?

I'm wondering guys, I'm having trouble commiting to a poker site to be honest and just wanted your opinion on the matter. I have played on Full Tilt Poker, Party Poker and GG Poker quite alot. I feel FTP is so hard to crush due to the behemoth player field size, making variance a huge constant, especially in low stakes which is where I feel comfortable playing at the moment. Party Poker is definitely alot of fun, and doesn't have the massive fields FTP does, which is great but I personally prefer freeze out tournaments to bounty tournaments and bounties seem to be much more prevalent on Party Poker at my stake levels unfortunately. GG poker is an awesome new upcoming site for us Europeans at least I feel and has great opportunities for daily $5-10 MTTs which I love, but it's very hard to study HH reviews, for example HRC doesn't even support loading files from notepad, as they need more hands to update their software. Which makes it much more difficult to study, but it is possible to convey hands to HM3 which is ok. I would appreciate your opinions on this matter.

I don't see a reason to really commit to any site. In my opinion, there are no sites that would actually reward loyalty, so the site that gives you the best monetary value at the time you choose to play should be the best option.
As a European there are also the tax issues to consider. At least in my country winnings from a site that operate under certain licenses are tax free. But Asian, American, and sites who's licence is hard to verify, that is a big no no for me.

I'm just thinking about this in terms of bankroll management. I don't think it's prudent to have my bankroll in 3 different platforms, which is why I'm trying to choose one.

depends on how much can you afford but if you need 1 I would go PP. Promos/rakeback/fast transactions... IMHO

When I started playing, I only played Full Tilt. until it became a problem. Then, as a menu and interface, I only liked poker stars

If you want to commit just to one site that is fine. Just read every site's TOS carefully before depositing. poker sites are not banks, and if you feel the need to withdraw money before you have used it to play first things might get tricky.

FTP hasn't been around for awhile.
Stars still has by far the biggest player numbers... but in lower buyins the tourney fees are higher :(
Partypoker seems to be going in the right direction. Their software is still lacking but it's lightyears better than it was a few years ago (when it still REALLY sucked).

I'm just getting going on MTT's again and myself I'm planning on 'adding another site'... and then another & another. I want to play on ALL of the ones I'm able to play on. This way I can play in many tournaments of similar buyin & structure at the same time(s). I'm even looking to play a bunch on the US-friendly sites :)
I'd suggest playing on all of them

In particular I have an account in several rooms but the logical thing would be to choose only one room where you can have all your banking I think is the most logical and recommended

Actually spreading your funds could even be seen as a form of risk management, if a poker site goes down, choose to ban your account for whatever reason, or you face problems with withdrawing. Having to move funds around, if you run hot on one site but cold on another, is somewhat inconvenient but not impossible. And if you use slightly more conservative bankroll management, it will not be needed very often if at all.

I am all about bankroll management, but live poker players also dont bring their entire bankroll, every time they go to a casino. So as long as you know, the money is there and reserved for poker, it should not be a big deal to for instance play 10NL cash games with 100-150$ in the cashier.

Thanks for the reply guys, much appreciated. I've decided to stick with Party Poker for the time being. The massive Full Tilt Poker tournaments, although many at my buy in level are fun, I just don't really like the massive variance swings. GG poker might be great in the future but I think PP is the best option for me at this time. Thanks again !

Hey there :O) I think you should play on a site that has good flow the more the merrier, and of course one that is fun and that suites you :O) I am pretty new to this so not sure on to many but I play at two right now and they are Black Chip Poker where I play most, they have lots of freerolls everyday and lots of players. Also I play at BetOnLine, I bet on sports there more then I play poker. But I really like both sites plus CardsChat has freerolls on both sites which makes these sites even cooler :O)

I would play all the sites you mentioned if I could. If you dont have the funds you can play the freerolls or play the site with the best promotions until you get rolled.

You're all lucky, in Belgium we cannot play on that many sites because of strict laws. The only 'famous' site I can play on is PokerStar

Obviously, the best is Americas Cardroom, which is the flagship room of Winning Poker Network.

Which poker site do you choose and why is everyone's opinion interesting?

I play a lot and have played on different poker platforms but for me it remains the best poker platform is PokerStars.
