Poker rooms many, many sites offer bonuses, promotions, etc... I will advise you where more freerolls and and experience of gaming and to Deposit a bankroll to play. But that's my opinion.

I started 10 years ago at the poker stars, with chips, no money and so I played two years until the first time I started to play for money.

For the US players I don't even believe Full Flush is any longer in business. Id stay away from Bet Online, way too many bad beats. ACR and BCP are great sites just don't offer much as far as freerolls go.

Well if you are beginner in 888 poker you will get rakeback 5-10% what is less than on PS for examle and way less than on iPoker (but they have bigger rake for sngs). Also their "rewards" freerolls are like 500$-3000$ prizepool. Compare it with Pokerstars where you can play in 10000$, or if you are gold in 100 000$ freeroll. PS Also has better promotions in general.

And I dont like their software. I remember that in the past when I used to play there sometime they had quiet frequent connection problems. I dont know If they already fixed it. Then its personal preference. I dont like design and also couple of times happened to me in the past that I unintentionally made reraise cause I was typing something and I hit ENTER key right in tieme when table pop-up. I didnt find option to change or delete shortcut keys that time.

They give more than 3000$ , like the 7000$ to 60+ level ,etc .
( Sth that I forgot to say at my own post ; the first bonus , so that makes it better for beginners , but you agree with this -I had a change of thought -too much regs on pokerstars , and the freerolls , large field they have, you can't earn a cent -CC freerolls excluded :) ) ) . I think at 888poker you keep your level once and for all as long as you play ( like I keep mine for months now without generating much rake , so you play way more freerolls on 888poker ) , on pokerstars you lose it after one month if you don't collect the rake they want and you don't play the freerolls any more . So you have to be a rake generator and a good player at pokerstars to take full advantage of the offers and have profit of them . Correct me if I am wrong .:)

The software is better now , doesn't have connection problems as it used to imo . But whenever you face , the solution is easy : Go at once to http://ndl.triple8holdem.com/#lobby and 99.9% it's fine .

The design is fine , many like the effects (you know , with the throw of cakes/eggs ,the animations of cards , words , etc :)) . I used to like more PS , now I think each has its each own good/positive characteristics/sides .

I don't know about hotkeys , strange , to me it's F4, F5, etc , no one is asssigned on enter . Either way , it's easy to go settings=>game settings=>disable shortcut keys and have them inactive :) , it happened once to you , to me at pokerstars manytimes (at zoom:) ,to everyone :)

Good luck !!:)

Earlier, it was Pokerstars. Today PS - greedy poker room, which reduces the amount of freerolls. Therefore, the choice is 888 poker.

betonline

I believe that betonline is the best freeroll site for poker players in the USA. That or Bovada, both have easy payout infromation, and u can transfer money from sports betting to poker pretty easily. I personally like betonline, because of the simplicity of it, and I feel like the talent is a little lower, so I can win easier!! ;)

Pokerstars is good for action plenty going on, 888 is good but I miss a good old fashioned buy in and registration closes and play to win! All these sites have a 2hr + opening to join so you start with 2500 people and end up playing 7000+

you learn which hand beats which, but most player don't play serious, also you don't have the real good players cause all of them are playing with real money, you can learn a lot from watching them

returning player

Hey guys, just signed up and just getting back into online poker ... been gone a few years ever since US players lost pokerstars. Is ACR a good place to start with ? I still play live $1/2 NL cash games 3-4 days a week here in St.Louis but due to work, my play time has been cut a bit recently. Been watching alot of twitch streams but most of them are pokerstars or other sites that don't allow us players. Probably going with $200-500 starting buy in, I really liked the $50 buy-in cash games back in the day, was pretty easy to play 4 at a time and make a decent profit over the course of a year. Any advice or help would be great ! Thanks in advance

I think that the best is PokerStars and Full Tilt. Besides him there are still 888 and Titan. At first playing the freerolls a lot of players and it's not very good. The probability to earn at times less than 888 and Titan.

On WPN they do have On Demand free roll and 0.55 games which is great for beginners.

Play money sites will not be a great place to learn technical aspects of poker. I would suggest play money poker only to get used to new software and controls and such is all.

ACR would fit well for you. Ignition has soft games as well if you like cash games. I will say that ACR in the 50nl would be risky for you to put 200 on though. I would play 10nl and work your way up.

Okay, but what about the high buy-in tables? Has buy-in of 1M, 5M, 50M chips. I think in them the players play with more seriousness than low buy-in even not being real money.

It would be best to start slowly from low buy-ins. Cash game in Pokerstar is very difficult. Or try 888, some friends of mine say it's less difficult for PS to win there. As for other sites / rooms, I do not have any information.
