I tell you better thing my friend:

Last year when I was wining some 4-5 figures during my multihour sessions, PS was doing whatever they could to pull me from playing...

And yet, during one session I hit about $300K after about 40-60hrs and when finally I was able to play again I had another 100hrs session in raw when I was only loosing and guess what PS done absolutely FA about it at the time, strangely...

And after that again all sort of disrupting correspondence from PS...
Coincidence?? - I don't think so...

I'm playing this game since 2008. 12-16 tables cash at different levels, always up-up-up in bankroll.
I had 60+ hour sessions with no sleep. Money-Cards-HUD-Notes-Bankroll- Tilt management...
One day I've asked myself -what is my product? What am I taking or giving to this world by spending my time playing poker?
Money? Yeah, but money isn't a product. Humans can generate money by doing many different things. The real product in poker is serotonin, adrenaline and other hormons. We're giving and taking it from the other players.

I've found out one interesting thing several years ago. Since 2008 and till 2015-16 I was playing in several poker rooms, building bankroll, moving up on limits, then cashout and start all over again from micro limits. I did cashouts 2-3 times per year and 3-4 poker sites... and started it all over again and again. Sometimes I failed to move up to the next limit and I had to deposit a minimum bankroll. But with time I've always increased my bankroll to a much higher state then it was when I've started.50-100 times bigger.

I've realised one simple thing. If I'm as good in poker as I think, then I can do the same without making any deposit, with no starting bankroll at all. for approx 7 years I've played with $400 starting bankroll and cashed out having $20K... I've asked myself? Why not start with 0 bankroll, start moving up from freerolls and see how high I can climb?
2017 - started with 0 at all sites, cashed out approx 8K in total during a year, and I haven't played too much cause was making CNC machines and learning new things.
2018 - started with 0 again and cashed out 3K during a year.
2019 - started with 0, $800 so far.

I've bought parts and built several CNC machines, router\lathe\laser engraver and plasma cutter.
I've learned how to draw objects and make programs for CNC machines...
These machines are simple robots, they work while I sleep/eat/play, and they produce real items, something that I can sell.
When I've started doing this, my poker profits together with time spent on poker has lowered. But i've got something better and more interesting in exchange. I know what my product is! I know what i'm giving to this world. I always have that winning feeling and poker wins or losses doesn't really matter much now.

In your case, you have to win to feel yourself a winner, cause you're not making useful product for the society, poker players are trying to fool each other, that's what we're doing... Well it was also my case. Spent 7+ years playing as reg and still playing almost each day. But now, I kinda pay more attention to what i'm drawing or programming and clicking those buttons at 9 tables at the other monitor just because i'm fast and to get rid of the boredom.

I wish you to find a hobby and make it your source of income, and let poker be a small, but entertaining part of your daily activities.

Wow, poker stars staff are aholes. You are one of their most valuable costumers and they're treating you like you're stealing from them... This should have been resolved from the first emailed you sent them.

I'm not sure if your have grounds to sue them, though... It's their private site and they can pretty much do what they want.

I don’t think I need to explain more then I already did, but here it is:

Privately I’m successful business owner with 10yrs of experience on the market within engineering fields.

So I don’t live out of poker, and I don’t spend my life at the table or online,
However I do play randomly my multihour sessions, every now and then.

Also I’m pokerstars customer since at least 01.01.2011 possibly longer as that is a date of copy of my earliest correspondence with them.

My persevere tactic that I was developing over the years, only in recent last 3 years became profitable to me.

As soon it started to bring me some profits, it also sparkled or sort of the issues with PS, including the latest, that I never experienced with them before.

So let me tackle you a bit with the reward of 10% of anything that PS will agree to compensate to me, maby thanks to your connection.

Please don’t let me believe that I was wrong from start and I only wasted my time in here…

You should explain that to pokerstars, that you are a successful entrepreneur, and that 5K dollars is nothing to you.
Have you played with any famous? as isilur otd redbaron for example.

I think you should control the way you're playing at the tables or you're going to end bankrupt.

I only ask the limits your playing at as it has a lot of relevance to amount lost over time period. If your playing 10c/25c it's a massive loss in the time period if your playing $50/$100 it's really not that much compared to the stakes.

As for me, they do everything right .. Many players who lose so much money will end up without pants. Maybe you are an exception and you can afford to lose $ 5000 monthly, but there are players who raised their bankroll from $ 10 to $ 5000 and then in a flash they lost it and they start borrowing somewhere to sell something and as a result lose everything and even their houses ...

I think that they are doing their job properly, that is a lot of money to lose and gambling can get out of control when trying to get your money back on a losing streak. It is up to you to limit your account though so maybe a bit unfair but if they didn’t try to interact, you could be left without a penny and maybe in some debt or maybe even someone hacked your account and was rinsing you if the activity was unusual it would be negligent on their account if that was so.

This is a very odd thread. Assuming it's real, $5,000+ is a lot of money to lose in one month. If you're independently wealthy luc, then more power to you. If not, maybe it's time to take the message and find some other way to spend a lot of money. I can think of many.

They see that you have lost a big amount of money in 1 month, they are wondering if you knew you lost such a big amount, trying to help you if you do have a addiction

They need to check these things and they do what is good
Some shady sites will never send such a email cause they want players on their site with a addiction (Not saying you have an addiction)

Also your account isn't "frozen" right?
Since they said you could fill in your limits etc
Not a requirement just a option.

A persons income and what they are capable of losing without hurting their lifestyle should be the barometer.

I have two close friends that would bet 5k or more in a night at the casino without batting an eye and that's just slots and maybe the tables. But both are multi - millionaires.

If I did so your supposition is correct, as I have no business playing with that kind of money. Since due my financial situation the loss would impede my ability to pay my bills.

But for my friends it barely registers.

Also, my Uncle before he passed loved Caribbean poker. He wouldn't even play unless he had at least 5K of cash on him. My only point is that not everyone views the amount of money they hold in the same way.


Another example, there is an interesting book written about caddies by Rick Reilly called Who's your Caddie?

I read it a few years ago so my memory is a little hazy but I believe it is in that book that he is caddying for someone in Vegas whom was a high roller and gambled on everything or that high roller was a friend of the person he was caddying for.

But he would get involved in bets at moments notice over something that we may find nuts.

For example 5k or 10 k (or whatever insane number to me was) on who would drop the first bead of sweat off their nose (this while sitting in the sauna after playing).

One last personal experience. My cousin when he was first starting out in business was doing well and wanted to lease a BMW. We along with one of his buddies walked into the dealership and as my cousin was looking at vehicles, his buddy stated I would like to test drive that (this was in the 1990's and I do not remember the model but it was the most expensive BMW they had in the dealership at the time).

The salesman chuckled and stated you would need to leave $10,000 in cash as a retainer in order to test drive that. My cousins friend reached into his pocket pulled out a wad of bills and counted out 10k. Still had a big wad left to put back in his pocket.

Looking at him you never would have known it, as he was not a flashy dresser. But a very successful business man in Manhatten.

My overstated point is what is good or right for one person is not necessarily the same for another.

you should calm down not take personally their suggestions to have a break for a week or, to read their responsible gambling web pages,
the employers use these sentences to be able to show their bosses
that they did everything possible to be 'responsible' and to make you a responsible gambler.
What they probably missed on your account was the amount of money you can loose or a similar detail.
In your correspondence you may use the words like ' I understand your concern / that you are trying to help me
/exceptional situation that will never happen again / I have read your web pages about responsible gambling etc.
I promise to modify/change my behaviour .
You should have your account reinstated, but maybe not immediately.

At present in UK there is a big action called 'responsible gambling'. Some agencies counted over 300 thousand of UK citizens (including 30-40 thousand teenagers) that have various problem with gambling . Regardless if these are the real numbers
suppose that each of would loose only 1k which gives quite a big sum, big enough to talk about social losses, elationship brekadowns.
and other bad smelly items.
Pokerstars to operate require the gambling licence from UK government ( Gambling Commission ) and in order to keep it, it needs to
show their social awarness.
I am not quite sure what is required now by the law, but at least the big winning and losses will be audited and Pokerstars simply needs to be prepared to explain to the auditors what exactly they did to prevent their clients from 'social losses' etc.

I had my account frozen once for I had two accounts. Its against the rules. Here the importance of therms and conditions reading.
So I sent the papers they required and all came to normal in about two days.
I recommend start with the live chat and they will direct you to the right address.
PS operators are very kind.

Relaying account information and trying to unlock your poker account via email just seems like a bad way to get it resolved in the first place. Probably calling them up and speaking to someone will help to get the message you want across easier than through text messages via email in my opinion. I have never personally had an issue like this but any account questions I have ever had for poker sites I would do over the phone rather through emailing support, just takes way too long for responses.

While I agree with what you say, I wonder if you actually play on PokerStars, pokerpie? The reason I say that is...call them? Do you have a phone number for PokerStars support? If you do can I have it?

I've been on Pokerstars since about 2008, and NEVER have I known them to have a phone number available for customer service. It has ALWAYS been email contact only, as far as I know.

Now, I am located in Canada, so perhaps there are other options in other countries, but honestly (and I've had poker friends in Germany too) I have NEVER been aware of a phone number for Stars.

This is a major PROBLEM, in my opinion of their customer service as I have had several cases where the support person obviously did just NOT UNDERSTAND what I was asking about. Sometimes I ask for elevation to a supervisor. Sometimes that works. Sometimes it doesn't.

Bottom line is, PS Support used to be REALLY great, fast and helpful, but sometime after the Avaya (Spelling?) takeover things went downhill in support - and it went downhill quickly. I will have more to say on this, but anyway.....

No support phone number as far as I know.
