dont mean to be a jerk, but this op is quite frankly an idiot, to have an online hissy fit over something like a lost password is just dumb, my goodness what would happen if he took a bad beat on a 100 bucks, jump out the window, sounds like the op should not even be on a computer let alone a poker site.

I agree... i no mean be a bitch but I like ACR and play there a lot, other than it near impossible deposit money if you no use bitcoin...

i don't think the complaints of service re: reset password significant to advertise no go to ACR?

Gawd go read how GG Poker treated me and stole my bankroll! I wish it was just my password i need reset

I've had success with ACR customer support.

Try calling them perhaps... They have a phone customer support.

Always was there for me.

Best of luck

people get all worked up over the littlest things, its silly.

Just thought I'd add to this thread as I was looking for anyone else unhappy with ACR.

After trying ACR for a month or so I decided to withdraw because there's just not enough traffic... too much waiting (for me in the UK anyway)....

So I go to withdraw my money and find there's no option to withdraw it back to the same bank account/debit card I used to make my deposit....

The deposit was easy...simple... but... getting money OUT is a nightmare!

Personally, I don't like the design of ACR tables, looks grey-depressing with small numbers that I can't see on my big screen when I'm playing out of my bed late at night.
But as for the rest, it's a amazing poker room, with tons of fish players around. I did 2 withdrawals without making any deposit at all... I can close my eyes on terrible table design when I see a fish performing $90 all-in with A7s vs my AA.... no problem, can even play 2bit poker design with large pixels with such opponents xD

My opinion

I like ACR. I would probably make the same decisions if I was in there foot steps. The only thing I don't know about is how they cash out. Intertops cashes in a week. That is a pretty good site. Nice freerolls too.

ACR is a great site, I've never had any problems with it, other than some ideas I'd want them to implement. Depositing/Withdrawing has been good and quick. I feel sorry for you and the situation you're in, and I'm surprised they didn't solve it.

When I was younger, I never had a credit card, so I paid my mom $200 so I can use her card to deposit $200. When they saw that, they gave me an email, and just made me and my mom sign some consent form. It was solved in the same day.

They had an outage yesterday and said it was scheduled maintenance. From what I understand they didnt notify anyone and people were just kicked off. I dont know if anyone was compensated. There is a lot not to like about the software and they just reaffirm my reluctance to take them seriously.

ACR

I've had problems with them before a couple years ago but just took some time off with Americas Card Room and figure out the bit coin process and did, now I don't have to deal with site management or with any other site problems any more. Now with other poker sites the problems are, not a dam thing cause most of my issues were with deposits and withdrawals. So thanks to doing the bit coin wallet makes the difference.

All this over a password reset issue?
I know I thought they ripped him off or were taking forever for a withdrawal. Ive never had a problem with ACR and I've been on the site since 2015. Deposits were easy, withdrawals were timely, and I've had to call customer support twice and they were really helpful both times. And like someone else posted I built up a bankroll after starting with a free roll and withdrew some cash without depositing. I dont know any other sites that do that.

Not that it really matters and I know most of you could care less.

I will share the first and last email that I received with 20 in between that were useless that I won't bother with.

The last straw for me was them asking me for a list of answers to questions and then sending me another email after that saying they would need my phone number, no, you don't, when I signed up for this idiot site a phone number was not required. Why now, when I jumped through all of your stupid hoops multiple times would I want these morons to have my home phone?

Gee thanks Pablo, you and the rest of your team can GFY!
I.m sorry but was that really about a password reset. I don't know if you've tried but I've called they're customer support a couple times and they were really helpful every time. I know they've gotten some bad press lately about bots, super users, and collusion but i haven't experienced any negativity with them at all. Just the usual bad beats and horrendous calls that turn out to crush my soul like any other online site lol. If your in the U.S. it sucks but it seems the slim pickings are what you have to deal with. From all I've heard it's better than ignition or others when it comes to payouts and such so I guess you have to choose what works for you. If this really is the last straw maybe you should try Global Poker.

ACR has one of the worst software algorithms I've ever experienced. Literally just favors big stacks and aggression with no real variance or odds. One can graph out the hands and see statistical outliers that do no represent the true game of poker whatsoever. It is a sad travesty. Many players seem to know this and can hit these cycles of algorithmic trash. (i've done it myself, jamming off on purpose with 38s for example and flopping flushes vs KK or AA etc) Players calling off stacks with 3Jo for no reason and hitting 4 card straights vs AA. These are either bots or people that have figured out the software because literally NOONE in their right mind plays this way...not to mention catching exactly what they need every single time. It is truly a joke. There is no real poker being played. Really. Graph out the hands...they literally come on cycles...same runouts...same holdings...same results...I tried emailing ACR with statistical DATA and they proceeded to blow me off. At this point I just play trashy jam and hope freerolls. Absolutely zero point in putting money onto this site when I can literally play one hand and get boned for no other reason than the algorithm. It really doesn't matter how 'good' one tries to play or make the right decisions. The software also does not allow one to 'trap' a bluffer either. The algos are line and stack dependent, it is pretty apparent on soooooo many levels. If you don't bet or raise when the program thinks you should, you WILL get screwed, it's inevitable. I can't be the only person that sees this? Seriously....graph out the hands...it is remarkable what you'll see pattern-wise.

I would be interested in seeing the statistical proof that you sent them that proves what you are claiming is happening.

Americas card room had said they were would be offline Monday but they are still down or at least I cannot connect with their server to launch the ACR software and play. I tried un installing and reinstalling but after it "updates" it freezes on checking for new version, then just closes. They still down?

I totally agree with your evaluation. Just graph the number of bad beats that you see on the turn and the river to see what's happening. I see the same cycles and I'm trying to understand enough to figure out how to take advantage of them. Can't even begin to say how many times I get dealt the exact same 2 cards back to back - way beyond a statistical norm. Try playing the same type of tournament on Ignition and you'll immediately see not near the number of high ranking hands in play. I don't know if the programs are picking winners and losers so much as just jacking the amount bet on any hand. That definitely raises the rake for cash games and keeps the rebuy rate higher than normal for tournaments.

I have to agree a bit with his post (even without a detailed explanation). The repetitive DDOS attacks, the cancelled tournaments, and the other issues haven't made ACR a very reliable poker provider.

I can totally understand OP. ACR has and had too many Problems in the past and if you have options you should clearly play somewhere else. Customer Service could be a bit better but they always answered me pretty quick after 1 or 2 days if there was a Issue.

I've also had bad experience with ACR support back in the days when their client would crash a lot. Not sure if this is still a problem because I tend to avoid problems as far as I can help it.

I'm slow clapping for ACR

Yes, their software needs to improve. I believe they are doing so daily.

I am playing almost as much on this site as i did FTP and PS pre black Friday, as an American player it is refreshing and fun.

I have found their customer service to be quick and accurate. I give them what they need (nothing unique or outrageous has ever been requested by them) and the few issues I have had are solved quickly.

Most of ACR's larger guaranteed prize pool MTTs run the risk of being way under the number by the end of late reg. They still run them, sometimes they adjust the late entry to help the game. They are trying hard to get the US players some good, big, games. I can't wait for Venom.

I support and applaud ACR. Keep it up.

I've had no problems with acr, won about 4 bucks itm in about 2 weeks of freerolls, also place itm in another .50 or 11 cent game cant remember the exact amount but it was the only paid game I've played so far, also won a CC tourney a couple weeks back for $21..So far my experience with them is good other than no weekend free rolls and me not knowing how to play omaha - hi/lo as their freerolls switch between omaha and no limit hold em, prefer hold'em.. ACR and 888 are my two fav sites.. I doubt they are rigged as Ive so far done well, havent played one of thier free rolls in 3 weeks or I'd prob have more funds on there as I average about 1 or 2 itm placements per day when I was playing. The only thing I wished is thier free rolls where higher than $50 but beggars can't be choosers..

Not a lot of choices for US players. ACR has paid me in the past and within the past month. More than I can say for some other sites... I do like they are opening up their development plans for the site. It needs work, but they do seem to be investing.
