I think their promotion are getting worse each day and there are better rooms now. PS used to be a better room before poker Black Friday because it used to have big rivals (mostly FT). After BF, PS was the biggest room for many years and the promotions started to get worse and worse. At least now we have more and better options to play.

I have no idea about sites I was never allowed to play on but I was able to be on PokerStars way back when and their software and customer service was top notch until it was sold to Amaya....,

and it has only gotten worse under Flutter, poor management is absolutely self created, Acr for example at least tries to adjust with the times, PS does not, that's a problem lol

The funny thing is, that whenever PokerStars actually change something, people also complain about that. For instance they dont like throwables, when PokerStars introduce them, they dont like new types of promotions etc. And what exactly has ACR done to "adjust with the times", which PokerStars has not? I play on both sites, and I honestly dont get it, but maybe I missed something?

How exactly does a company "take action against getting surpassed"? And if a site is good, why does it even matter, if its the largest? People in this forum generally praise 888 Poker, and they are certainly not the largest site. If we are honest, 90% of this forums members only care about freerolls, and this is why, they like 888 Poker but hate PokerStars. There is no reason other than that, apart from those, who want it to be 2008 again and blame PokerStars, its not

Admittedly PokerStars have done some things, that are not great, including the recent rake increases for SnGs and cash games. But GG Poker dont even have SnGs, and they have also done things, that are not great, including their blocking of sharkscope, their "Security and ecology agreement", high cash game rake etc. The main reason, GG Poker is so popular, is because of gambling related formats and software, that enhance gambling addiction. And is that really so great, and what we want as serious poker players?

How are they ignoring feedback? Which feedback? The "PokerStars is the worst site ever and I want them to burn" nonsense posted every day in this forum by people, who feel entitled to freerolls?

Is it actually that bad? PokerStars are not allowed to offer it in Sweden, so I have no personal experience. But as I understand it, you can now get up to 40% rakeback, which seem pretty much in line with most other sites. Of course you will not get rakeback, if you mainly play freerolls. This is also the case on all the other sites.

I am not talking about having a casino section. I am talking about casino games disguised as poker like GG Pokers Battle Royale. Or only having lottery style Spin n Gos but no regular SnGs, even though you are the largest site in the world and therefore could easily make SnGs run 24 hours a day.

The decline in the popularity of PokerStars has been going on for a long time, and I think this trend will only get worse. Their management is not the best and the owners of the company need to think carefully about what awaits their site in the near future.
