I also installed it and didn't expect it to carry viruses and also my antivirus confirmed it a few days later.

It just depends which anti virus software you are using but it is clearly not a virus. You can also play on the website no download option if you prefer which you can link from the home page at 888poker.com.

Great news and much appreciated!
I believe I responded to a survey recently & was requesting exactly this ^

This past Sunday I was finally able to have a day set aside for playing MTT's. When I logged in to 888 site (which btw I did quite easily, no longer needing to disable my anti-virus!! ) I was pleased to see a number of new tourneys running in the Lobby. I played a few of the micro/low stakes ones & even final-tabled one of them (now I won't need to ask how to deposit these days on 888 from Canada ).

I hope the site grows in popularity as I'm enjoying the site this week and would really like to continue playing on there.

I am close to removing the 888 client from my computer forever. I have repeatedly had the software become unusable from freezing when trying to play two tables at once. Support has been unhelpful in the past, so I am not inclined to engage with them again.

I'm a pretty even keeled person normally, but I have become very impatient. Obviously, this sort of frustration doesn't lend to playing one's best poker. It's one thing to tilt from bad luck, it's another from bad software.

In past instances, I was playing two tables on 888 only. Today I was playing two tables on 888 and one on pokerstars. Pokerstars was running fine the whole time.
