There is no point blaming pokerstars of bad luck this is poker and you have to learn to take the hits. For me pokerstars remain the best and there are the best sharks.:)

First of all I understand how you are feeling , I have been there too. But then I asked myself do I adapt to it or not. And I did adapt and started studying more and more.
I have been playing at a lot of pokerrooms , PS , 888 , Netbet , Unibet , Redkings. And they are all the same. So if you have this problem on PS you will have these troubles on the others too.

I don't think you played the hand that well. Why ? Simple , there are 2 reasons to bet , to make better hands fold or worse hands call. Ask yourself at every street why you did bet.

I got KQs, 3bet, guy calls. Flop K 8 3, 7BB raise, he calls.

How can this be a 3 bet pre? Who made the open raise ? Why go all in on the river , what worse hands did you think would call and what better hands would fold? The Cbet after the flop is ok I think but after the call from villain I am done betting and only reacting on what villain does.

I got KQs, 3bet, guy calls. Flop K 8 3, 7BB raise, he calls. Turn Q. Another raise for about 13BB, he calls. River 5. I go all in, guy calls with 5 5 in his hand. So he was calling me with 5 5 for half of his stack till the river and he gets a set.
What I am missing is any bankroll management. What buy ins did you play ?

Have you got an HUD ? I don;t know how many hands you did play already to build data. But if you have a good hud you can analyse your game.

Poker is a game that has the luck factor in it. And most of the times you run into situations in a S&G or MTT where you don't get lucky but the villain. Pocket Aces should win about 80% but that doesn't mean that after 8 times win you lose 2 times . Sometimes you will lose them 8 times in a row.
And in S&G and MTT you can win the first 10 hands but if you go all in the 11 th hand with Aces you can lose. That's just poker and if you can't handle that maybe it is not your game.

Bank roll management is where is at, you have to keep your stack healthy at all times, it seems that your playing beyond your means

I am guilty of this also. I am a rank amateur and if I build up a decent stack I tend to get complacent and begin to bet with poor or middle quality hands.
I feel that waiting 20-30 seconds is a good habit(with online poker). That way I get to evaluate my hand and ask myself the question..... "Is this hand good enough?"

If i understood, you're quitting because one major bad beat. Many players can show you worse bad beats than that, try to continue and better days will come.
Take it from someone who had 7 consecutive months of bad beats beyond imagination, and lost way more than 45$... he'll be back. The wheel is round.... except when it isn't, but even if it's square... it still turns.
One thing i do agree... The bad beats are not normal the way they happen lately, no matter what explanation they give about variety and equities and shyt. People don't win any more, except those that do... over and over again.

Not all the time happens with your hands, what can you say, unlucky. I think pokerstars is one of the most complex poker sites.:stupido3:

So, where to start? as I said in some posts before, one month ago I decided I will try to build up from my baby bankroll(25$) by playing SitnGos. It was going up and down, but I did reach about 45$ at one point. However, I managed to get back down to 23$ in just two days by simply having so many bad beats that it was unbearable. I didnt play tilted, whenever I would tilt I would take a short break so it doesnt affect my play. Even after all that, I managed to keep my cool and come strong as ever today at the tables. And guess what? literally the worst day of poker in my life. After few really unlucky tournaments, my last tournament on this site was about to start. Just few hands into the tournament, I got KQs, 3bet, guy calls. Flop K 8 3, 7BB raise, he calls. Turn Q. Another raise for about 13BB, he calls. River 5. I go all in, guy calls with 5 5 in his hand. So he was calling me with 5 5 for half of his stack till the river and he gets a set. This one simply makes no sense to me like most hands I've played on this site. I definitely decided to quit poker, or poker at pokerstars at least. Definitely to most unfair site that favours people that play with some ridiculously wide range of hands. I wouldn't recommend it to ANYONE except pros who learned really good how to deal with some terrible bad beats and unreal hands against worse players than you. Good luck to you guys, hope you all achieve your wanted goals!! Bye :)
:vollkomme Poker Stars is not the same as it was before ..I think there is more or less adequate game with Abi11 begins.. On the platform .es speak better .. But this is not accurate, I did not check..

Don't know about Poker Stars but I can tell you that on ACR if you are leading at the flop then you will lose the hand either runner-runner or on the river almost 100% of the time.

I actually think, Stars is a great site for beginners. The reason is, they have a lower rake at 2NL and 5NL cash games than any other sites, and they have 45-180 man SnGs, that run regularly. And these are exactly the games, a beginner should be playing. If I ever get in a situation, where I need to rebuild my bankroll from 100$ or so, I would certainly do it at Stars. When it has reached 300-500$, that is the time, you might consider to move somewhere else.

I think for the bigginers players better to start with the poker sites, where play less people, and have many freerolls, for example these are: ACR, BCP, Unibet... Because at most big site, how Poker Stars, is very huge competition. Hence, try to start your poker career may there, where less risk to lose initial bankroll quickly, and where have opportunity more easy grow up with zero, who wants... But this is only my opinion. Anyway, everybody need carry responsibility for your decisions only yourself!:cool:

Bad beats will happen on any poker room. But i agree , at PokerStars it is happening often . My last Bad Beat was with 99 in hands. Flop was 10 Q 9 . First 2 was Hearts. Than next card was A (Heart). At River i got my Bad beat 9. And that happened first time against me. When you think that 4 of kind is good , but someone have KJ( hearts) in hand. CRAZY.
You can see ScreenShot.

Its extremely unlikely, that the RNG of PokerStars or any other major site is rigged, so its not like, you will suffer more or less bad beats, depending where you play. Your choise should be made from other factors like software, rake, rewards, game selection, game quality and traffic.

Good afternoon.
About your post, I'm studying hard and playing 1 year poker, with some good results, I played a pokerstars freeroll and won a ticket to play a $ 109 Mtt, finishing in 3rd place and winning $ 200.00.
I have learned that it is much easier for you to be profitable by playing regular Mtts.
At pokerstars it has $ 0.55 Mtts, with 5,000 Starting chips and 10min Blands raise, these Mtts have many recreational players.
Regarding bad bets, I agree on pokerstars every time there are bad bets, but they have nothing to do or accept or play on other sites. At Partypoker and bet365, there are not as many bad bets as there are at pokerstars.
There are live broadcasts from regular players on twitch, I follow a player, who doesn't use HUDs, it's not a very technical play and yet he has a profit of almost $ 50,000 in that year 2019.
I recommend following the best poker players at twitch to see what they do in each situation.
Hope this information helps and GL, GL.

I agree with you the beginners should play smaller poker sites. But according to my opinion the beginners shouldn't play freerolls. At the freerolls everybody playing in a loose stile and it's not good to get used to it.

also play freerolls in many rooms, especially CC freerolls, but in my experience many people play it just to spend their time. Small money players have to fight hard to build a bankroll.
