Still. "Folder's remorse" is an emotional illusion. One which must be conquered as best as one can for the sake of one's game. I'm not saying that is easy... I hate to see my flush fill up on the river when I folded. But if pot odds are worse than my best estimation of implied odds... well I did the right thing.
Real or imagined, I'm just saying folder's remorse is easier to overcome in rush. As is overcoming losing face and being berated by an angry chatter who you just sucked out, etc. Like I said, there is less psychological baggage.
Another advantage of rush is that you don't have to deal with people coming and going in tables, forgetting to post their bb, tables becoming empty, having to find another, etc. It just flows, and you can focus on what's important.
It's just an altogether a cleaner game from a psychological standpoint. It's like playing a road game in the Superdome without the noise.
