My first poker room was Everest Poker...good times :)
They used to have free 24/7 sit'gos and you could play how many sit'gos you wanted. Of course the prize was only 10 cents, but you could play multiple tables at the same time. I made my first bankroll there.

I startet with bet&win before it became bwin. Back then, you could also play at online casinos. Today, unfortunately, you are no longer allowed to do so in Germany.

I started my poker "career" at GGPoker when I heard about the honeymoon promotion. It Felt nicely motivating. As a beginner, threshold for playing with real money was high, but as the benefits of honey moon were so good, it was worth playing. It was good that the promotion encouraged to try different game formats, even though some like all in or fold felt quite terrible to play. But trying different games helped me to understand what I enjoy and what do not enjoy. Also eventually got quite lot of profit from honeymoon!

I started at Partypoker in 2010. The casino was good there, and later the sports betting. I think it's still good, but Partypoker withdrew from Hungary. The laws can do that. If the wind changes in the spring, maybe it will return.

I started playing in 2018. My colleague played at work, I often watched him and became interested too. I created my first account on 888 because there was a promotion at the time where you could get $88 for free. Although in reality I think I only got $8, I can honestly say that my only regret is that I started playing so late.

I remember Everest Poker. They also withdrew from Hungary. I just looked it up and it was in 2016. I played there and I didn't think it had been that long. I don't know what the reason for the withdrawal was. The regulations were introduced here later. Are they still around?

PokerStars then 888poker ...Poker has become frustrating lately, mainly because many platforms no longer support the region where I live.
However, WPT still remains a good option, as it continues to support our region and offers regular tournaments and freerolls. It’s not perfect, but for now, it’s one of the few reliable choices left.

I created an account on PokerStars about 8 years ago. At that time, I was working two or three days a week and had a lot of free time. Since then, poker has been my favorite hobby.

When I started playing poker, I used Everest Poker and Titan Poker.
I loved playing on Titan! The Jackpot SNGs were so fun!

I started playing at Full Tilt Poker in 2002. I remember it was full of Americans back then, and people would win and lose tens of thousands of dollars in literally 5 minutes. I loved watching the high-stakes cash games there.I remember one player winning $90K and then losing it all 10 minutes later.
Full Tilt was great too! I miss being able to play there - we had freerolls and I think also some money-added buy-ins there for CC members. Was a lot of fun.

My very first deposit and tournament was at the Sportingbet poker room, which belongs to the Boss network, around 2005-2006.
(I won my first tournament with about 1000 people, so my bankroll strengthened and fortunately I haven't had to add any of my own money since then)
OMG I remember playing there too! My then husband was also into sports betting, and then we saw the poker room, so that was perfect. Not the best interface, but was good for some smaller field tournaments.

Sadly the site has long gone, along with most of the good ones. My second was The Poker Room.

It was in the den of the house where I grew up and when I was around 11 I asked my parents if they would teach me how to play poker and they said "Yes."

I'm pretty sure that it was at Foxwoods when I first played live games, though it might have been the Colorado Belle in Laughlin, NV.

Online it was Global Poker where I practiced when I first started playing tourneys at Foxwoods.

In my case, I was convinced by PokerStars' good publicity at the time, although I think GG has more publicity in my country today. But to play for real money, I go to 888.

I started a couple of years ago on PokerStars, back when it was considered the king of online poker. At that time, the guaranteed prize pools were much more attractive and the traffic was very strong.
Unfortunately, over the years the guarantees have decreased, which pushed me to try different poker rooms. Moving from room to room has helped me compare player pools, promotions, and overall value, so it ended up being a good learning experience.

Full tilt poker and man did i love that site before you know what happened. It had such a depth and variety of tournaments with great value - my particular favourite was Midnight Madness and Double Deuce.
'The Ferguson' was the first game I ever played on Fulltilt. It started one hour after Midnight Madness. (Midnight Madness was out of my budget back then but did play it a few times). That first night I played, I placed 2nd in the $1 The Ferguson and won $114.00 I was hooked. It seemed soooo easy! lol
One of the many things that I loved about Fulltilt was the satellites. The ones to the Fifty-Fifty were the best ($55) and all the ones for the $24+2 tokens were great too! The satellite sng's were also awesome (18man, top 4 paid).
They really did have so many great tournaments, satellites and sng's back then. FAR better lobby then vs. now (imo).

I had some brief encounters with Full Tilt and PartyPoker, but when I began to play poker in a serious way, it was on PokerStars. And this is still my main site to this day.

I started at GGPoker and I have tried other sites. GGPoker a good quality site. Different sites have their own bugs or oddities and I think I GG is one I still prefer above all.

I started playing in 2016. At that time, PokerStars was extremely popular, so I created my first poker account on PokerStars. I was thrilled with this site and never thought that PokerStars would end up where it is now 10 years later. What the PokerStars managers did can essentially be classified as criminal conspiracy.

Started way back in 2005. Entered a freeroll on Pacific Poker (now 888 Poker) and then got completely hooked.

Have played in many rooms down the years. Paradise, VC Poker, Pokerroom, Full Tilt and who can forget PKR? I loved that site.

Currently play at GG and don't see that changing any time soon. We were spoilt for choice back in the day.
