Why is there no leak tracker on the Stats/tournaments menu? I have noticed it's on the cash page, but not the tournament side?

What is the proper way to track satellite winnings and use of tickets in PT4?

I play on ACR, so I already need to go in and manually add my tournament winnings and buyins.

Should they just be treated like regular buyins and winnings? Or is there a better way to manage them?

Satellite tickets are treated the same as real cash so when you win a ticket and use it it will be treated as a cash entry. The satellite checkbox records that you won a ticket and adds a tag to those tournaments for use in report filters.

LeakTracker is a cash game report only. In tournaments your play can/will change depending on lots of different factors (blind level, effective stack, stage of the tournament, nearing the bubble, payout structure e.t.c.) and that makes it very difficult to compare tournament player hands to a single model like cash games where play is much more stable.

PT4 not loading certain tables (888)

im trying to figure out why my HUD doesnt track certain tables on 888

this is the second MTT in a month that has had this happen, at first i thought it was because it was a satellite to a WPT package (malta) but now it happened again in the mini main event....

its weird because, as you can see, the table right next to it (micro main event) has a HUD....

according to PT4, my other table doesnt even exist ;p

So we can find out what's causing that please enable logging, reproduce this issue and send us your PokerTracker4.log file, a screenshot of the table window and the original hand history file in a Support Ticket:

The development team are working to add support for the new Winning Poker Network client. I don't know exactly when it will be available but if you want to be contacted when it's ready please open a Support Ticket.

Unfortunately I cannot make out the PostgreSQL settings in your screenshot. Does Holdem Manager 2 start OK? If so then make sure you are using the PostgreSQL settings from there. The default PostgreSQL server settings for HM2 are:

Server: 127.0.0.1

Port: 5432

User: postgres

Password: postgrespass

If you have custom settings and don't know exactly what they are then if you go to create a new database (the green + icon in 'HM2 -> Database') then a window will popup with those settings.

I believe it may be awhile before the PT4 HUD is working again on ACR.
With ACR updating it's software, and unknown issues with Hand History, It may be some time before it's ready.
I'll wait, replay and review what i have so far.

BTW question.
I have a custom report in the My Reports tab that displays stats by position.
is there a way to link that report to another report( a hand report in My Reports ), if i double click on a specific row?

Have you selected the correct HUD profile in "HUD -> Edit HUD Profiles" before changing the opacity property?

There is a pre-release version of PokerTracker 4 available with an update for the change in WPN software so if you want to test it you can do so by opening a Support Ticket.

To allow flexibility in the way that custom reports can be built and filtered it wasn't possible to link those together so you cannot access individual hands from a custom player report.

And no, not a waste at all. It has actually helped my game quite a bit.

BTW, no I never use the HUD, except in hand review.

Partypoker are getting everyone to change the names on Monday to a new name, possibly deleting notes too. Is there any recommendation for the PT4? Should we wipe our databases for that site and how would we do that? Some players may keep their name if able to but you might end up with players taking other names you already have stored in which case you will have completely the wrong history so not sure whether or not to wipe the database at the same time for PP and start again?

Oh so they are going to stop it working all together! Bugger just bought this software which was a stretch. I do use other sites too though. I did post about this on Arlie Shabans twitch and he did seem to think this was odd way to go and a couple of players were surprised about this decision.

some feedback

yesterday i tried PT for the first time...
the install took a looooong time, cause of importing hands (~10 minutes to import 22k hands)

after that it seemed to work, but there was a big issue - the load on my CPU was just constantly 14-15%. i didn't even make it to a table to check out the HUD - had to close PT cause of the CPU load.

and a positive note... it sure looks better than HM2 and it found the HM DB that didn't get deleted when uninstalling HM.

(i guess) the CPU load was my bad... had to make PT4 executable run on my performance graphics processor and not the integrated one.

but out of the box the HUD is not displaying (pokerstars)... any idea what to do?
