No chance, I kind of remember my first CC platinum freeroll, as I was excited to have made it, but not my first freeroll ever.

My first freeroll was back then somewhere in 2012 with PartyPoker. They had every hour some 100$ freerolls. Actually it was really possible to win and groß up some bankroll but unfortunately i was too young and addictive to control that. But As long as i can remember there is always somewhere some freeroll what actually is pretty nice for people who like to play controlled or never want to deposit own money.

I started playing poker about 8 years ago and my first freeroll was at PokerStars. I didn't win anything, but overall I liked it

What an amazing question. It was 2am sometime around 7-8 years ago. I was lead to poker on 888 by what I am sure were other worldly forces and won 3c in Snap hold em tournament. And that was that, I'd found my true thing I loved to do. That 3c still ranks as one of my favourite achievements.

I started playing poker at PokerStars, and when I made my first deposit, I was able to access daily freerolls called ‘giveaway freeroll’, I think. I remember they were held maybe two or three times a day, and I really liked them because they helped me build my first bankroll.

I don’t remember my first freeroll but I remember the first time I cashed.

It was old Poker Stars.
7200 people to start.
It started at 10 PM and I figured I’d play while everyone was sleeping. I thought I’d last an hour or two before getting knocked out. (Lots of Bingo Players early so if you could get past that then it became some good poker.

Fast forward to 6am. It paid the top 5. Once we got to 5, the 2 short stacks were easily eliminated and that left me in the final 3 with us all pretty even. (Deals were not a thing in this tournament). We played 3-way for about an hour and blinds were 1M/2M. Betting for the most part was a lot of blind calling with some min raises. I was little blind with 89 suited. Button raised to 20M (which was most of my stack). I called. I had been playing for 9 hours overnight and was exhausted and didn’t pay enough attention to notice the extra zero. I thought he had just called the blind. BB folded. I lost that hand to AK and was out shortly after that. I managed to start my bank roll with that 3rd place finish and a whole $13🤣.

After a couple of months it was down to $4. One night I tried zoom poker. I was doing very well. I had to buy in with my last $4 but I managed to build it up to $21. I was about to quit but I wanted to see the next hand first. It was pocket JJ. So I played it. Aggressively but not carelessly. Flop comes J44…after some back and forth the other player puts me all in…of course I have to call…and I lose my entire BR to quad 4’s. 😢

That was a long time ago but it still stings. I’ve managed to rebuild my BR off FR - big thanks to CC for helping with that!

No. But I remember the time I won my first tournament. Wow. What a feeling after hours of play,.. f****g exhilarating! Love this game, the stress, the sweat, wins & losses. Well maybe less so the losses but still. It be sometimes alright to press the table while on tilt haha

I started playing on the UltimateBet platform without having made any deposits and only knowing a little about the hand rankings. The idea was to try to learn poker in practice. I played a tournament and stayed in it for a very significant period for a first time and in the end i got a few cents.

when I discover card chat freeroll I got a lil hocked, once I got into silver I started cashing every month or so, now I am cashing at least 4 time a month, great feeling and spinning that up on turbos and other Mtt is amazing, I am currently up $51 and haven’t put money in to WPT or GGPoker for over a year,

The first freeroll I played was at 888. When I created an account and made a deposit, I was credited with several tickets. I used some of those tickets on the first day, and those were my first freerolls.

My first freeroll was a loooong time ago. It was the shasta tables on Everest Poker (they don't exist anymroe), it was free sit'gos 24/7, if I remember they used to pay a few cents for the first 3 places, but you could play unlimited games, so, it was a great way to build a bankroll.

That's right, my friend, I played my first freeroll at CoinPoker. I remember it was a tournament for their anniversary and I won a few dollars. For me, it was the happiest day, my first time playing a tournament.

Since it was free, I can’t really complain, but even when I won, it just led to the next satellite, and I was getting tired of wondering when I’d finally reach a prize.
