I believe I started with Backgammon on partygammon. Free money from backgammon tournies bankrolled me for years on partypoker. I kind of miss those days. And the psychos in the chat going ballistic with F bombs when they lost

It was on Stars , a freeroll for players that had deposited $$$ . Also for silver vip level players . I had no luck , I played very conservatively , many time I was getting blinded out , left with one or two blinds early in the game .

yes. it was a 888 freeroll. Before that, I had been playing poker with deposits for a couple of years. and I was very surprised and happy when I found out about rerolls. After that I didn't make any more deposits

I don't remember the exact time (in 2006, that's all I know), but I know I sat down to play as if I was playing the tournament of my life... I was excited as if all the money in the world was at stake. Then of course I quickly realized that this was 'just' a freeroll and not like what people play in the big tournaments.
