Often this happens, AA and KK or KK and QQ, especially in tournaments.

I think you got such an impression because of the fact that in online poker we play more hands than offline, so this situation occurs more often.

Thanks! :top:

As Vinnie pointed out, I misspoke about the sample size... If you added 70k hands to the sample we'd pass 800k! :D

I see it a lot of times not on my hand only but with others. But AA does not win all the time.... :):)
More often (i think), AA gets owned by a smaller pair by hitting trips on the board.
Thats poker i guess. :):)

Lol, so what then? If the room is rigged against KK let's say it's true and it's rigged. THEN STOP TO PLAY THE KK AND SEE IF YOU ARE RIGHT ABOUT THE RIGGING??????

Don't cry that it's rigged, cry that you aren't using that secret knowledge to advantage!

It is very common to fall KK and I get sick because the opponent has AA. Horrible feeling.

Most of the time, though it's no use ... If I left AA and the opponent of 72 he would have won.

This happens not often but it happens maybe only 1 time per session and may not happen at all during the week.

It is easier to remember it happening to you than it is to remember having it work in your favor. Probably breaks out fairly evenly but feels like we are on the wrong end too often.

It happens sporadically, people have a misconception that what happens most in online poker. The more that thought exists due to the volume of play that is much higher than in live poker. You're dreaming that for you to win in poker you have to go All-in Pre Flop with QQ, KK, AA.

If your intrested in poket pairs i think once in 10 hands you will be the underdog. If you are thinking that your pair will lose on the flop for a better pair that is 46% at least depends on your luck. You can simulate this on pot odds calculator.

Right, but how worried should we be? At a 9 handed table, we only run into a better pair:

Holding KK: 3.85% of the time
Holding QQ: 7.57% of the time
Holding JJ: 11.17% of the time
Holding TT: 14.64% of the time

And, all of those stats are assuming we are UTG with 8 people left to act behind us. When people have folded to us, we have even less of a chance of running into them. With 10-10 on the Button, there's only a 3.88% chance of running into a bigger pair.

In short, I don't get too paranoid about bigger hands being out there.

Goods explain.

By topic you asking about pair on distribution or pair AA collected after flop, turn, river?

If that one many people go all with A because chance to collect bigger pair of bigger card

Feels like always, but it includes another interesting feature:
I play KK, first card or LAST card on the board is an ACE
I play QQ, first card on the board is a K, I throw away
I play JJ, QKA on the board lol

no really, I have my reasons, why I limp the Aces in freerolls.
It might not be rigged, but the Algorithm might be set to training mode...

Edith: on the other hand my opponents always win their pairs against my Ace..
