I could sit on it and try to build it up more. I could play in the lowest cash table on the site, which is 2nl I think. I won $1.40 awhile back and run it up to $14, but lost it. I could also play one of the low buyin MTTs. So let me know your opinions. GL to you all in any games you play today.

Play the lowest limit tournaments from 0.10 cents. Or leave $ 5 in your account and keep winning on freerolls. When the required amount is accumulated for withdrawal, withdrawal

Keep playing the free-rolls, and I would start playing the 10 cent buy-in games if you feel that is where you want to go, Poker is a game you can play every day so what is the rush? I have over $500 now in my Pokerstars account and I have never made a deposit or withdrawal, I don't particularly need the money, and that is why I always say that the money is a poor second on my mind when I play.
I play to win, but not for the money, it is a game I enjoy playing, and win or lose, it really does not matter to me, the important thing for me is to enjoy a game, have a bit of fun, and with this small bankroll it does not cost me a penny to play!
I do have more choices now on what I buy-in for and can safely buy-in for $1 to $5 without too much damage if I lose, and that is the important part of Bankroll Management. Buy-in for no more than 1% of your bankroll and take it easy. Poker is a marathon not a Sprint.

Play some small MTT or SNG or leave this money and try to win some more freerolls

I would advise you to play the cheapest single-table SNG tournaments, there is a very weak field and you will not lose everything at once like in multi-table MTT tournaments. I have repeatedly spun my bankroll in this way for a comfortable MTT game

with that small a 'roll you will need some luck , but

find a spot you can beat and keep at it ( tiny ring games , HU sng , double or nothing sng , etc ). and keep playing CC freerolls of course !

Thanks for the replies and good advice. It's been a long while since I started this tread and the little money I had on ACR is long gone. Matter of fact, I went broke on SB just yesterday. But poker was not all of the problem. Rolling the dice in the casino had become a big problem. I just could not get away from it. GL you all

I remember the day, a few years ago, I took my friend's advice and signed up at Americas Cardroom. I didn't have a penny to my name, and I certainly had no intention of depositing any of my own money after what we Americans went through on Black Friday. But I love poker and after a very long decade of broken dreams I still had the fire and the desire to play this great game...

...well, fast forward a few years to today, and my "nothing" has become over 4 digits of bankroll. (Well it has dropped back into the 3-digits but I'm still okay) I don't withdraw and never plan to since I realize the poker site frowns upon us "freeroll" players taking money off the site, they really dislike it and try to prevent it as much as they possibly can. But so what, my intent was never to 'get rich', all I want to do is play profitable poker at the highest level I possibly can play at... and you need bankroll to do that.

P.S. I definitely credit my "success" to the fact that I NEVER EVER play other casino games, nor do I bet on sports. I have always stuck to poker exclusively for two main reasons - First and most importantly, you are NOT playing against the house, or against the casino... our opponents are actual, real human beings who make mistakes as they play (unlike the casino). And secondly, unlike all other casino games, the game of poker is NOT rigged in the house's favor. We're not swimming against the tide when we play poker. Even sports betting is "rigged" in the sense that you're paying a vigorish each time you bet, and you have to overcome that negative bias before you can be a winner. Yes, poker has rake which is similar, but you're not trying to beat the house while overcoming that rake. Poker is the ONLY game in town, and that's for very good reasons.

What I do in this type of case is play omaga h / l with 0.80 and I go little by little, and so I make some money and I can play some micro mtt, other times what I do is wait for something better to start of the freerolls

I'm not familiar with your room,but they're all about the same.I myself play freerolls on 888 and I think that the best thing is until you feel confident-to play satellites for a cent for this$ 5 (you should have enough for rebays+addons).This way you can qualify for more expensive tournaments and earn a bankroll.And also try to decide on the discipline -Cash and MTT have different game strategies.

If you feel up to it, you can play cash games for the lowest stakes. It's a bit risky, but you can often get extra dollars because your rivals are impatient.

Cash is definitley the way to go unless you suck at them and are really good at MTT's
MTT route could get you into 8 micro mtts for 5$
take a first and you'l have almost 50$
but the variance can be brutal
