I found $10 in my 888 account and thought I would give the snap fast fold tables ago.

Does anyone play this fast poker on 888. If so what do you think of it.

Softest cash games I've ever played in, pools are very very small, not that is a bad thing.

Thanks. Will give it a go. Played rush and cash on GG through the stakes, was just about break even after about 20K hands haha.

This was quite a few years ago mind you.

Just give it a shot. Worst thing that can happen is, that you no longer have $10, which you did not even remember, you had :)

My opinion is they are great for losing money at. You may as well play a slot machine.
A huge part of the game is reading and playing against opponents, that you learn about along the way.
Speed games take that away. Unless maybe you're using an AI ?

Funny we don't seem to hear so much about AI and poker anymore.

Well I played a few hundred hands and won a bit BUT the software crashed three times while I was playing, well it actually just froze and I had to reboot the table to start over. Is this normal on 888??

It has done that in the past, but not recently for me. Maybe worth reinstalling it to see if it will resolve.

There's a lack of statistics. In the classic version, players face the same opponents, and in the process, they accumulate statistics on each other. In this format, the process of obtaining statistical information will be significantly slower. This is because each hand will involve playing against new opponents.

Played for 30 minutes and did steam some of it. $10 start bank is now a $11.83 bank.

I am playing a short stack 40bb and will rebuy back to 40bb when I hit 50bb. Lets see how it goes. Will post my results in this thread.

Fast poker tables are fun, but to much is based on luck. At normal tables, you can find out, how players are playing, and write some notes on them. How often he bluff or crazy rises pre flop with bad hands and more. I better prefer normal tables.

I agree. But if you have not got the time, fast poker is fun and very quick. If you can make a profit playing fast poker is another thing. Doubt it to be honest.

Great for clearing bonuses though. But 888 offer you nothing these days - what happened to the hand of the day promotion.

Will keep going until I have lost my $10 as they do not offer withdrawals to paypal anymore like they used to. So not bothered about this room.

Yeah, with top two you generally want to bet the flop to protect — which you did — but once he check-raises that big, it’s already a weird spot. When he checks the turn and then fires a big river after the hearts come in, that’s usually value at 2NL.

So even though top two is strong, this river is just a fold. Players at these stakes don’t bluff enough in this line.
