The Rake was $1.86 as well.

Will play another 1000 hands on 888. Then switch to GG. You just get nothing back on 888, so I might do better on GGs rake back and other bits.. Lets see.

It actually means you can size up your value bets, likely getting 3 streets from total donkeys who will call with any piece of it. This makes it real easy.
As I think has been mentioned elsewhere, those 2nl tables on 888 are probably the softest of any tables online (although I'm not all that familiar with 2nl these days tbh).
I hopped on for 5 mins. (only 16 in player pool... I went on 4 tables... very slow due to low traffic).
Up 1 buyin after 7mins.

Seriously I can't imagine playing with a stack of less than 100bb on those tables. (as in... I don't think I could make myself do it.. and it cuts into your profit like crazy).

Try to force yourself to sit with 100bb's

Well I have done the 2000 hands now. Thoughts, software is OK but does freeze up quite ofter and a bit slow. Other than that I quite like the software.

I paid $3.91 in rake

for only 2000 hands, scandalous really at 2nl with no bonuses except a few free crappy freeroll tickets to get you into more tournaments which I am totally not interested in.

No players at all at 5NL at all cuz of the crazy rake, so no moving up if you wanted too. A few do play 10NL though.

So now I will give GG a run for 1000 hands even though I hate the Mickey Mouse software. Lets see what happens.

Onwards and upwards. Will post my GG results as I go.

Not a great first 300 hands on GG. Looks harder than 888 a lot more 3 betting. Aces beaten by AK. This cash out feature looks a big con for more rake.
I do not use it but it got me on my AA v AK all in. Small sample so just getting used to the software.

Yes it's just so player low. 2nl has to be after about 5pm UK time and then there are only about 40 players rising to 60 at a peak. NL5 never see any players anytime ( rake I reckon) 10NL there are a few playing at this level most days better at weekends.

Now GG any time of day you can play at any level

Its not due to rake as there is not much difference compared to 2nl.and 5nl, its just that.traffic overall is low at 888

Yeah, I’ve tried SNAP on 888. It’s fun because it’s very fast — you get dealt a new hand immediately after folding, so you can play a lot more hands per hour.

But the downside is you don’t really get reads on opponents since you’re always moved to a new table, so it becomes more about solid, basic strategy.

Overall, it’s good for volume and quick action, but not the best if you like making detailed reads or playing deep strategy.

Updated chart. I think to get any of the nice little things that GG give you, you have to play a lot more hands. So for me it's a no no. I just not interested in sitting on my ass playing poker for hours on end.

Maybe at nose bleed stakes it might be worth it.

Thought on GG v 888 2nl fast fold.

As you can see by the two charts I did much better on 888 with a bb/100 13.94 rake was $3.91
GG was bb/100 2.55bb rake was $1.31 but I did not win as much. So not sure about the rake still on GG.

No real extras from GG I had a gg care twice but nothing won. Got 3 tickets to daily free rolls which do not interest me like the free ones you get with 888

GG is harder for sure lots of three betting which you just never get on 888. Huge player pool on gg so you can play anytime, unlike 888.

Software much better on GG as 888 crashes for me quite often which is frustrating when playing. Suckouts are on different level on GG I am afraid

Would love to give poker stars the 2000 hands test but they do not offer 2nl zoom anymore.

Thought I would be clever and try playing 3 tables of rush and cash like the streamers. Mind you I do not see ANY of the streamers making any money on the tables. It's all from promotions and rake back. Saw one bloke yesterday playing 25NL rush 4 tables 32 buying down when I tuned in

Anyway it's not for me haha. I lost hand after hand so went back to one table and started to claw the losses back. Coming up to 3k hands now.

Pretty much all regulars on R&C tables are 4-tabling.

Do you get the 100 hands & 300 hands played promotion? (100 hands gives you the $0.50 ticket & 300hands gives you $2 ticket).
You can use them to win a $10 ticket. (6man SnG, sometimes it pays out 3x $10ticket).
You can use the $10 ticket for satties that run regularly, for a $150 GGMasters Ticket. (satty might pay top 3 $150 tix, 4th, $30, 5th $20... obviously depends on how many were in the game).
I picked up a $150 ticket last week and a few $$'s. Played the $150 GGMasters yesterday, went out around 2,100th spot

(bustout hand: got it in pre w AKs, vs. ATo... but they managed to hit a T on the river lol.... for 55bb's. Maybe next time, lol)

No I do not get the 100 or 300 hand promo. I just get the daily freeroll ticket when aces come along.

Will play another few hands to get up to 4000 hands then knock it on the head. Aces against aces again and he hit a flush again. Its happened twice in 4k hands now. hahaha
Will head back to 888 and give that 4k hands even with the terrible cash rake 888 charge. It's all good fun. Will then start to pay 5NL or PLO 2NL cash then. Now that will be even more fun I reckon.
