meh I literally did the math 2 posts above. Obviously it's possible but it's extremely unlikely. Also I almost am never getting in QQ pre in those positions unless you're running insane. Like even against a 28/25 reg I'm flatting pre. It's not that I don't think I can profitably get it in pre it's that I think it's going to just be higher ev flatting than 3-betting in general.

After i posted that ^^ i was thinking about it and pretty much thought the same thing, just gna see AK a whole bunch then AA/KK occasionally. So ye you probably right :) hurts to flat QQ pre though :D

Saying it's happened ONLY once before should illustrate the point nicely lol ;)

You guys are ruining my game! Here the constant I have been dealing with over the years is my general lack of enough aggression to be effective, and you up and change the message!

either I got owned or out-levelled myself?

disclaimer: this is no-where near my standard play (before WV comes) it just makes no sense for him to raise a value hand here imo? any decent/av reg flats 2 streets shoves river since normal regs will b/f some overpairs and air OTF..

and random bad regs raise here with AQ for weird reasons..

but then does he ever trip without the nuts?

also did this on another table at the exact same time vs me:

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.75) Hero has Qh Ac

i prefer check call J9s there on the flop and if i bet 55 in that hand i would just fold to the raise, you ain't gonna make all the money trying to bluff catch there and if a 7 comes youre done in also

Whether you c/r or donk the J9 hand I'm guessing villain will be putting you on almost the same range so barrel is the cheaper rep. Nowt wrong with a large overbet semi-bluff on the turn to rep the 6 if you miss the flush. B/f the fives.

EDIT - It feels weak but I probably just c/f the AQ hand. T86 hits muggins' range on the button quite hard and the 9 on the turn makes your ace high even more ugly.

6 max over the short term is really swingy + with my FR background I don't have the redline to do that well in 6max.

since FR games never stack pre except AA vs KK super rarely, all my moneys made postflop which means there's less swings for me which is nice.

+ FR regs fold A LOT to aggression compared to 6m regs.

also: imo I need to amp up the aggression in 6max games, gonna be posting a few line checks for bluffs in the next couple of days hopefully.

You really took my red line comment to heart there didn't you. Maybe I shouldn't have said anything. Heh.

I don't want to be indirectly responsible for anyone spewing off days or even weeks worth of hard won profits.

Meh - I'm not a fan of calling OOP here.

I prefer flat calling flop and as you only ever really rep a flush draw when you raise here.

I'd go into x/c mode on turn, don't see the point in raising - he's always folding out everything you beat and shoving hands you're crushed by. It also allows him a chance to either hit a pair on the river or bluff a good river. Ax/Kx/Qx etc. Either way, I think you get more value just x/c turns as opposed to raising.

you're acting as if we have showdown equity with J high.

yeah he shoves all the hands that crush us but we're not calling off OTF and his range is so much more air compared to actual hands OTF.

I prefer x/c with the NFD here since A high will also be good a lot and he'll barrel A turns + rivers sometimes.

lollol.......ignore my comment.

I misread the turn..I thought it was a 7s...

Damn - I wish these hand converters converted into 4 color decks!

I still x/c flop and if you have a reg who knows you have a lot of air+ flush draws, then I just x/f the turn doesn't make any sense to do anything else.

wtf at FR regs? anyway I got a spot for you lot, and yay its red line spew!

villains a 20/17 over 200ish hands.. nothing else is really converged.

flop bet is standard, turn bet was repping Ax going for thin value figured it'd get more folds + more FE on rivers with more money behind.

after I get raised my thinking was that he never has a hand here? a 3 makes no sense, Ax is super unlikely and imo can't call a shove here unless its AK which normally folds flop anyway.. and even if he does have AK we have equity when called.
