After the last hand with this guy I should have resorted to only valuebetting him however because I was tilted I was decided on a triple from the get go. The turn card sucks for us and obviously once he leads river he has a set/2P type hand. Do you guys think I'm justified in even betting flop here? Or just go for pure value and never try to bluff him?

Not sure which hands do this that we beat, do you think he's going to turn a hand like AJd into a bluff in this spot?

1. Fold looks good.

2. Again your play looks good, who knows if he will fold tpnk in this spot, pretty villain dependent, but I'm guessing its a clear fold. Look at things like fold bets to raises, and their went to showdown. Obviously no folding and hi showdown, live to see another day.

3. I would bet/fold/give up after flop cbet. You play more of a guessing game like this, when you check oop. I feel better about checking back if we were in position.

4. The only thing your beating at the time is like k10 of diamonds here, again looks like a clear fold.

5. Standard hand wp, if he hit a set with garbage pair, put a note as a set miner, so you know for the future.

6. I honestly don't like it. To me looks like your repping ak or aces, if he has a ten and maybe some decent pairs, may never fold, looks like a fos line. Different board, different story.

7. Played fine, if you bet your committed to the hand.

8. Cbet all day because his range is so wide, from my experience these guys like to play back alot, so he easily could of raised you with air, nothing you can do, but fold.

9. That queen is such a gross card, fold is probably best, but depending on the villain I may look him up.

10. I like a tripple barrel here, more then hand 6, if he folds or not your guess would be better then mine.

11. You seem to be double barreling alright, which is ok to do, but you can't win every hand. Clear fold on the river obv.

Fair point; but yeah for value. Against all of his calling range; we have around 60% equity, which include all draws; Ax random pairs with a diamond. I wouldn't be barrelling the turn if there wasn't a flush draw out there and I didn't have the diamond draw as I'd only be expecting exactly Ax calling but I think with the extra diamond equity it's ok. Might not be, dunno but I guess it might be close either way.

Yeah exactly the sizing I went for; $4 to with targeting the Ax, two pairs which had some draws in them but felt they had to call. The reason I posted the hand though was because he shoved over. I felt annoyed I called it off; as it made no sense as I'm like never ahead but with the turn sizing, plus river sizing; I felt I just had to call lol. he showed up with JTdd...so his play makes sense.

Convinced to shoving though? Don't we fold all his week hands/draws and get snapped of by hands that have us crushed?

H3) 5bet/fold pre imo deep enough to fold to a 6bet. As played I call the turn an makea decision on the river.
H4) How big of a hand smaple? WP I fold to that flop either 2+, or we or flipping vs super draws.
H5) eh, I try to get it in on the flop but, not bad.
H6) c/r paired boards,on the flop
H7) SB range looks like TT/JJ and never folding to a shove
H8) I 3bet the flop. $$$$ c/r, b/rr paired boards is the nuts.
H9) close, eh it’s prob a fold, but I’m a station there is tons of combo pair+draws in his range.

Not sure about the 3-bet pre suggestions. I feel like AJ/AQ type hands are in such an awkward spot, not really working as a bluff or for value . . .

Been trying to experiment with a X/C/Donk line, however it hasn't been working out so far. As for H6 I considered X/R'ing flop but I decided that a reg would give more credit to the X/C/Donk. Hopefully that can spark up a discussion in this thread. I could do with a lot of advice on the best boards to bluff from the blinds vs regulars and the most successful lines when doing so?

H1 i think played poorly, i just get freeze there . On turn we are beat by pretty much most hands that flat 3b´s (AK/QQ/JJ/TT, some fancy AA), so river should be a fold even if is so lol amount right?.
Also hate my line on flop, probably should bet 75% on flop or as played raise more but was expecting someone with QQ/TT tbh.

H2 is just a brag for my first stacked on 10nl, i usually standard 3b there but not sure if was the 4x open, or the position or just a feeling that should flat there.

lol, I've called in spots like these before. Folding is too much, but we probably shouldn't be auto shipping without first considering his river x/raising range. QQ/99 vs JT and 77 (assuming JTs 50% time maybe to give it an appropriate weighting?), and we start to wonder where we're at.

Matt I don't think our absolute hand strength here is overly important.

I just think that because you are PFR in MP and double barrel a Ace high flop, he can't call with anything worse than A/X or some type of combo draw like 9xKd.

If you were betting I would bet alot smaller to see river cheaper and to possibly get calls from PP's, 9x.
I think OTT against his entire range we are doing pretty bad at more like 30% equity.
